I know you're a busy producer. I get that people need your attention and your decisions. Go to war. Fight to go dark and be completely unavailable. Distractions are costing you your genius. The business won't burn down and your team will figure it out.You doing masterful work is all that matters here. Trust me on this. Be nearly totally unavailable. For one week. Just watch what ideas start downloading and just see the quality of your output.

One of the primary principles of real leadership is being uber-nice. Wildly empathetic. Staggeringly compassionate. The nicest (and best person you know). Why? Because leadership (and business/life) is all about people. Human connections. Social equity. Emotional bonds between you and your stakeholders (the people you work with/your customers/suppliers and the community you serve).Our world says that if you are a leader, in many ways, it’s about what you get. What I’m going to suggest to you with deep respect is: “Being a leader is about what you give.” It’s a paradox because as you give more you actually receive more.

The subject I'll walk you through today is a game-changing method I initially developed through my coaching of ultra-successful people, many of whom suffer from so many distractions in their lives that their productivity falls apart. It's called the 90/90/1 Rule and, given how beautifully it worked for my private clients, I wanted to make sure I shared it with you.

Every Leader Without a Title and world-class productive runs toward what they are most resisting versus toward the exit door. They feel the fear of tackling a game-changing project and do the project anyway. They acknowledge the sweaty palms before the high-stakes presentation, and give the presentation anyway. They experience the runaway heartbeats accompanying asking for the biggest order in the history of their company, and they ask anyway. And that’s what makes them great.
