Jacie is Assistant Superintendent in the Hopewell Area School District. She has been interested in writing for a long time but has pursued publication only in the last few years. She has had numerous articles published and has served as an editorial advisor for Principal Magazine. In March 2016, Corwin Press published STEAM Makers in the Elementary Classroom: Using Creativity and Innovation to Teach and Learn, Jacie's first book. Since then she's authored more books to help educators rethink education.Her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education is from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership from Robert Morris University. Jacie's doctorate was earned in curriculum and instruction, also from IUP.
