Dr. Shelly Gruenig turned her role as a parent into so much more. She helped create a local robotics club in New Mexico that became a two-time regional championship winner for BEST Robotics Competition.  Dr. Shelly Gruenig has received several awards for her ability to inspire her students and peers & she has (along with the help of the kids she works with) created Be Greater Than Average, where students learn about the Innovation and Evaluation of the Engineering Design Process, and develop an understanding of the science behind their robot.
