Renowned vocalist and sound healer Flicka Rahn illuminates the hidden power of music frequencies, offering transformative insights into how they shape our mental and physical world. Flicka reveals how the commonly used 440 Hz frequency, established during World War II, might contribute to stress and anxiety, while music tuned to 432 Hz resonates harmoniously with the body's sacred geometry, fostering peace and tranquility. We explore the universal healing potential of sound, extending beyond humans to all living beings, and provide guidance on how to discern these frequencies in everyday media. Flicka's expertise opens a fascinating dialogue on the intersection of sound, science, and spirituality, challenging us to reconsider the auditory environments we inhabit. Our discussion further delves into the profound impact of music on the psyche in these tumultuous times. We touch on how music and media can carry energies that influence our mental state and critical thinking, referencing Dr. Masaru Emmoto’s water experiments to illustrate the effect of positive and negative stimuli. As we ponder the unsettling shift towards transhumanism and the erosion of human connection, personal anecdotes bring light to music's unwavering role in emotional and spiritual growth. From the evocative notes of classic rock to the transcendent beauty of Pachelbel's Canon, discover how music remains a steadfast source of healing and clarity, capable of guiding us through emotional landscapes with grace and power. --------- HIGHLIGHTS --------- 0:01:27 - Sound Frequency Impact on Emotions (79 Seconds) 0:05:19 - Music Frequency's Impact on Living Beings (124 Seconds) 0:10:57 - Impact of Music on Society (89 Seconds) 0:20:30 - Effect of Music Frequency on Emotions (83 Seconds) 0:29:45 - Forces of Light Versus Darkness (75 Seconds) --------- HIGHLIGHTS WITH TRANSCRIPT --------- * Sound Frequency Impact on Emotions | 0:01:27 - 0:02:46 (79 Seconds) 0:01:27 Ryan McCormick Based on everything you've come to know about the power of sound, the power of music, is there a certain frequency or a certain megahertz sound frequency that is being played throughout various music, throughout various media that invokes a negative reaction? And is there one that necessarily invokes a positive reaction? Because I'm seeing some things where, apparently, if the frequency is at a lower bit, like a slightly lower level, it kind of has a catastrophic negative effect on people and if it's tweaked in a slightly different direction, it has a positive impact. I was wondering if there's any validity to that. 0:02:07 Flicka Rahn Yes, let me explain that. Thanks for bringing that up. There's a certain amount of confusion around that. It is a way of what is detrimental to the energetic body and also your mind, is a way of tuning which you've heard the four, 40 tuning. So that is a way of tuning which is a little bit elevated up, which then causes a certain amount of stress and anxiety as people hear all of the music that is tuned to 440 hertz for the A. ---------------------------------------------- * Music Frequency's Impact on Living Beings | 0:05:19 - 0:07:23 (124 Seconds) 0:05:19 Ryan McCormick How does a person tell if they're listening to something at 432 or 440? Is there any way you can tell? Are you just generally going to have unease if you listen to something? 0:05:31 Flicka Rahn Well, yeah, I would say a lot of it is subjective, Unless you have a tuning fork or tuning systems. There are some apps that you can get that will be able to designate if you're listening to music at 432 or 440. But can I hear it? I mean, it's just only my subjective realization or effect that I say, oh, there's something off with that music. 0:05:58 Ryan McCormick Okay, and when you listen to something at any particular vibration, is that necessarily just impacting human beings? Are human beings only able to attune to something at a certain frequency and that affects them? Could that frequency of 440 be better for animals or certain species of animals? Does every single living species on Earth basically attune to their own music frequency or is that something that is a universal? ============================== Flicka Rahn is an internationally known vocal performer, author, teacher and published composer.
