Adam Geller is the founder and CEO of Edthena.
He started his career in education as a science teacher in St. Louis, Missouri. Since 2011, Adam has overseen the evolution of Edthena from a paper-based prototype into a research-informed and patented platform used by schools, districts, teacher training programs, and professional development providers.
Adam has written on education technology topics for various publications including Education Week, Forbes, and edSurge, and he has been an invited speaker about education technology and teacher training for conferences at home and abroad.
Adam is the author of Evidence of Practice: Playbook for Video-Powered Professional Learning written with Annie Lewis O’Donnell. You can catch Adam’s original interview with me on episode 279 and the follow-up on episode 387.
After leaving the classroom, Adam joined the national strategy team of Teach For America where he helped design a technology platform to improve training for new teachers.

Dawna Mosburg - Being an Elementary School Principal, Changing School Cultures, and Addressing the needs of "At-Risk" Students. This is episode 473 of Teaching Learning Leading K12, an audio podcast.
Dawna Mosburg joined Broken Arrow Public Schools in 2007. She has held the positions of Ex. Director of Professional Development, Ex. Director of Ancillary Instructional services and the principal at Rhoades Elementary School.
Ms. Mosburg is a graduate of the University of Houston earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in special education and a master’s degree in administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
She has completed fifteen post Master’s degree hours and received her superintendent’s certification in 2003. Ms. Mosburg has served as a teacher in Houston, Texas and Clinton, Oklahoma. She was also an assistant principal and a building principal in Clinton for 10 years prior to coming to Broken Arrow Public Schools. Ms. Mosburg was named CCOSA District 10 Administrator of the Year for 2006-2007.
Dawna has been a presenter for AERA, American Education and Research Association and is an active member of the International Reading Association.
She also has presented for classes at the Teachers College at Columbia University, St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and Oklahoma State University Tulsa.
Dawna presents locally and throughout Oklahoma on “Brain Compatible Classrooms”.
She also has piloted several programs such as STEM, RTI, PLCs, and enrichment. Ms. Mosburg continually campaigns for “at risk” students and her efforts are chronicled in the book, Living Faithfully, the Transformation of Washington School which was published in 2013. She has also been published in AERA WESIG with her article, “Leading with the Heart”.

Dr. Hanine Salem of Novus Consulting Group has spent the past 25 years working with education systems worldwide to help school districts prepare their students for life after graduation. She has shifted her focus to cybersecurity due to the ever-growing globalized society and economy. She is now making it her mission to ensure that districts equip students to be leaders in Cyber Citizenship.
Dr. Salem has over 20 years of executive level experience in education and human capital development. As part of her affiliation with large international organizations, she led major educational reform initiatives in the Middle East region. Her interest is concerned with improving leadership' decision making process through rigorous policy analysis combined with results-oriented public management methods such as strategic planning and program evaluation.
While serving as the associate director of the Education Unit at RAND Corporation, her work largely focused on K-12 and higher education reform, evaluation of the implementation of education policies, and examination of topics related to human capital formation and skills attainment in the MENA region and around the world. In her capacity as regional office director, she served as advisor to several senior officials engaged in ambitious development and reform initiatives.

Ran D. Anbar, MD - Changing Children’s Lives with Hypnosis: A Journey to the Center - 466
Ran D. Anbar, MD, FAAP, is board certified in both pediatric pulmonology and general pediatrics, offering hypnosis and counseling services at Center Point Medicine in La Jolla, California, and Syracuse, New York. Dr. Anbar is also a past president, fellow and approved consultant of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Dr. Anbar is a leader in clinical hypnosis, and his 25 years of experience have allowed him to successfully treat over 7,000 children. He also served as a professor of pediatrics and medicine and the director of pediatric pulmonology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, for 21 years. Dr. Anbar also worked as a guest editor and advisory editor for the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. His experience has offered him the opportunity to direct and co-direct more than 20 clinical workshops on the subject of pediatric hypnosis. Additionally, he has trained more than a thousand healthcare providers and lectured all over the world.
In addition to his teaching and lecturing experiences, Dr. Anbar has been the principal investigator in 10 published case studies of pediatric hypnosis and involved in research trials of children with cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary disorders. He is a published author of more than 50 articles, abstracts, and book chapters on pediatric functional disorders and pediatric hypnosis.
Graduating from the University of California-San Diego with undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology, Dr. Anbar earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency and pediatric pulmonary fellowship training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Anbar received training in hypnosis from the Society of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
