In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Sabeer Bhatia in conversation with Raj Shamani. He has been the co-founder of Hotmail, COO of Biscuit Labs, and also the co-founder of ShowReel. He has incredible knowledge of the global market, business building, and entrepreneurship.
In this episode, we talked about how he came up with the idea of Hotmail and its name. How he built Hotmail, raised funds from the VCs and how they sold Hotmail to Microsoft. In this episode, we talked about how he got into the marathon, and how he has progressed in the running over the last few years. We then talked about how he made Rs1400 cr business last year, how he started, the challenges he faced during COVID-19, how the business picked up, and how it reached where it is today. We then discussed the ‘Shark Tank’ controversy of their brand and discussed all the blame that Sharks had put on his products. One by one he explained and gave answers to all those blames.

In this episode, we talked about how the Indian military is different from the American military in terms of weapons, his favorite weapons, and which are the best three special forces in the world according to him. He then shared the types of weapons our military uses and also shared the intense selection process of special forces. He shared the intense challenges they have to face in the 90 days of probation and how they are tested mentally and physically while surviving on 2-3 hours of sleep.
