He also recruited a former social worker contact to come work for him as a property manager who keeps a presence on the ground when he is travelling.  His first property was a house he bought for his impending marriage but had some time to rent it out for a while, planning to move in once married. However, he ended up living in a different city and kept it as an investment property.  His own portfolio now consists of around 14 properties which tend to be in constant flux, usually selling to make more investments, e.g. sell one buy two, focused in Hamilton and Brantford. Most are buy and hold or BRRR properties.
