"I believe I can fly!"- Arne Cheyenne Johnson a.k.a The Devil

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the case of Arne Johnson. This case is also well known as "The devil made me do it" case. Arne was an all around nice guy who committed a horrible crime. To police the case was open and shut, but according to Arne, his girlfriend Debbie and Ed and Lorraine Warren, Arne was innocent because the devil made him do it. As most of you know, Russ doesn't believe in anything supernatural especially angels and demons, so I already knew what I was getting myself into with this one! Moral of the story.... A couple that fights the devil together stays together! Happy Halloween!!Check out our Sponsor!https://www.invisawear.comPromo code : WIFEOFCRIMEBecome a Patron! Spinning and Winning - Lizzie Borden

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the infamous case of Lizzie Borden. This case is super popular around this time of year. It's a classic " who done it" type of case...a little bit of American folklore. But did Lizzie Borden actually kill her parents? Or could it have been someone else? I tell Russ everything I know about the Borden case (because of course he has no idea who she is) and I wanted to see what he thinks. Moral of this story... It's almost closed! - The murder of Faith Hedgepeth

On this week's episode I tell Russ about the brutal murder of Faith Hedgepeth. Faith was a 19 year old UNC Chapel Hill student who was brutally murdered in her apartment in 2012. There are a ton of details and twists and turns that just don't make a lot of sense. This case has been unsolved for the last 9 years but just last week there was an arrest made so I really wanted to tell Russ about this one! Moral of this story... ”Why you always lying...”- Casey Anthony

On this weeks episode I tell Russ the case I said I'd never do! This is the murder of Caylee Anthony committed by her scum bag mother Casey Anthony. I don't mince words when it comes to this one. I firmly believe Casey Anthony is a guilty person who is walking free. It is always interesting to tell Russ these types of cases, ones that I have strong opinions on and he literally knows nothing about. He is hearing the case with fresh ears. Moral of this story... They actually walk among us.Become a Patron!!https://www.patreon.com/wifeofcrimepodCheck out Moms and Murder!https://momsandmurder.com Check out True Crime Guys!https://linktr.ee/Truecrimeguysproductions Learn more about your ad choices. On this week's episode I'm telling Russ about the crazy case of Brian Shaffer. This case is so frustrating because there are so many theories and unanswered questions! Did Brian fool everyone and perform the ultimate Irish Goodbye? Was he killed by someone close to him? Was he the victim of a serial killer?? So. many. questions. Moral of this story... "Ya'll Need Science"- Patricia Stallings

On this week's episode I tell Russ the crazy case of Patty Stallings. This story proves that science, although usually accurate, is not always perfect. I'm on a wrongful conviction kick lately and this case is another example of how easy it is for an innocent person to be sent to prison for a crime they didn't commit. Patty Stallings had one heart break after another but persevered through it all. Moral of this story... sometimes there is more below the surface, so don't jump to conclusions too quickly.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
