Graduation Day Cast & Crew

On this final episode of Season #1 of “Creatively Me”, Daniel chats about “Graduation Day” his newest short film streaming on Vimeo from Friday, April 19th. Daniel did this film as part of his thesis in his MA in Film & Screen Media. He’ll be chatting not only the course, but the making of the film from pre-production to post-production. Édaín O’Donnell

For this penultimate episode of Season #1, Daniel welcomes Edain O’Donnell. Edain is an artist and creative director who has worked on the art department on several respected and high profile film and television projects. She has contributed to Irish classics such as The Wind That Shakes the Barley. She’s recently worked on Holding, the television adaptation of the Graham Norton book of the same name. It was during her time working on that project that Edain pursued the idea of setting up a film studio, which she is now the co-founder of alongside a slew of talented Irish artists and filmmakers. The West Cork Film Studios is described as a new leading light in TV and Film Production in Ireland, and is simply emblematic of the tremendous talent this country has in the world of visual media. Today Edain will be chatting about her own creativity, the process of establishing the studio and will give an insight into not only what it offers others, but what it has given her on both a professional and personal level. Mathias Levy Valensi

MTU Cork School of Music Graduate Mathias Levy Valensi joins me on today's episode. Mathias hails from France and journeyed into the world of music in his early teens when he first began playing the piano. Today he is a film and media composer, but his individualistic musical style has extended even beyond that to working alongside the likes of Andrea Corr. Mathias has collaborated with Daniel on four films to date. Mike Gibson

On today's episode, Daniel is joined by Mike Gibson - an artist whose signature and unique style has drawn him notoriety and acclaim. You need only look at his TikTok page to see the over 100 thousand followers he has that eatery await each time he posts a new art piece. His recognisable work typically features that of a celebrity, mostly a musican, in amongst beautiful inscribed lyrics that relates to said star. His work ranges from depictions of stars from Matthew Perry to Miley Cyrus. His latest art-piece has been recognised by pop superstar Ariana Grande.
