Nienke Brinkman is professional runner for Nike and NN running team based in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2021, Nienke placed 2nd at Sierre Zinal in behind what would be the current women’s course record holder Maude Mathys. She then went on to win multiple Golden Trail World Series races, including the overall crown in 2022. Emelie Forsberg is a professional runner for NNormal based in Rauma, Norway. She is also the co-founder of Moonvalley sports nutrition and a mother of two. A true legend in the sport, she has notable wins at Zegama, Transvulcania, Mont Blanc Marathon and Tromso Skyrace but is well known for her 4 back to back World Skyrunning Series overall wins. Yao Miao is a professional runner for Salomon International from Wuhan, China. Miao won CCC in 2018 and is extremely dominant in the Chinese trail running scene. At the age of 23 she set the CCC course record that wasn’t broken until last year by Blandine L’Hirondel. Philaries Kisang is a professional runner and member of the run2gether team based in Kenya. Philaries was 2nd at Sierre Zinal last year and was the 2nd place finisher at the World Championships vertical race in Austria. Last year she raced and won Thyon-Dixence the week before Sierre Zinal, but this year she is coming into the race fresh.
