TES 086 - How to Be More Productive

In this episode, #1 Bestselling Author and Highly Acclaimed business & Entrepreneur Expert, Mel Abraham, talks about how you can be more productive with the help of successful rituals or habits in your life. If we don't get such rituals right, we find ourselves in a confused state, we are totally unfocused and we ultimately end up with no results. When we get it right, we have clarity, everything we do is intentional and we start to complete tasks. So here are the 3 principles that you need to know: Focus precedes action Actions don’t equate to completion Fulfillment is your true currency The Productivity Sphere This framework will allow you to divide your time in the morning and later in the day. Each activity gets a maximum of 90 minutes. The activity doesn’t have to be the same for everyone. You can use this as a reference to create your own sphere of productivity. In the AM Creativity: This is the time to be creative. You can spend the time generating ideas and writing them down. It is not necessary that you do it as the first thing in the morning. Exercise: The time for exercise is largely important. It energizes you and brings vibrancy back in your life. Team: This is the time that you separate for your team. Do they need something from you so that they can carry on with their work? Strategy: Sit back and look at your strategies. What are the plans that are and aren’t working, the things that you need to tweak? MIF: Most Important First. When you have a lot of things to do or are procrastinating, list them out and do the ones that are most important. In the PM Review: Look back and review the day. Think about how you did your daily tasks and carried on with your strategy. Wins: What are your wins for the day? Did you accomplish what you set out to? It’s a way to compliment ourselves. Gratitude: Realize the things that you are truly, truly grateful for so that you create a chance to expand and grow from there. Plan: What are the wins for tomorrow? What needs to take place for them? Who do I need help from? Unplug: Shut the doors to your office and unplug. Be with your loved ones and rejuvenate yourselves so that you are ready to take on your morning rituals tomorrow. __________________________ ABOUT MEL ABRAHAM Mel is the founder of BusinessBreakthrough Academy and Thoughtpreneur Academy where he helpsentrepreneurs bring their businesses to the world and build thelifestyle that they want. TES 085 - How to Make Sure People Know Your Value

In this episode, #1 Bestselling Author and Highly Acclaimed business & Entrepreneur Expert, Mel Abraham, talks about your value because if you don't get value right no one sees you, people don't have interest in you and there is no sale. However, if you get it right, you're seen by your marketplace and the potential folks trying to hire you, people are curious and want to know more, and ultimately they buy. Here are the 3 things that you need to know: Transformation drives value Process gives confidence Results create certainty The Value Articulator This framework allows you to articulate your value so that you are able to speak to your audience in a succinct way. Who: Who do you help? This is our market. What: What results do you help people get? How: How do you help? This is the process. Problems: When you talk about who and what together, it’s really about the problems you solve. Transformation: It’s between what and who. We get transformation by matching the people we work with, with the process that works. Distinction: It is what the results are that we get and how we get them. The Value Articulator Template This is a template that you can use to answer who, what, how along with the distinction that you have when compared to others. Here is how it works: I help [X] do [Y] so that [Z], unlike [A] because of [B]. X – Who do you help Y – What do you help with Z – What results you help get A – Customer alternatives B – Your Distinction __________________________ ABOUT MEL ABRAHAM Mel is the founder of BusinessBreakthrough Academy and Thoughtpreneur Academy where he helpsentrepreneurs bring their businesses to the world and build thelifestyle that they want. TES 084 - How to Negotiate or Get to Solutions

In this episode, #1 Bestselling Author and Highly Acclaimed business & Entrepreneur Expert, Mel Abraham, talks about negotiation, helps you understand the concept of conflict and shows you how you can go from contention to solution. In any type of negotiation, if you don't get it right, it's going to be an energy drain, the conversation will stall and you find yourself in a constant battle. If you get it right, you start to make progress, get some understanding and finally, produce some sort of resolution. The 3 principles that you need to understand are: The details bogs you down The meaning that people give to situations is highly emotional We need to find our solutions above the meaning and details The Solution Pathway To go from contention to solution, there are a couple of things to understand: Observations: What happened? This is the detail, the stuff that we get caught into and we can’t get away from it because we’re stuck in the specifics. Emotions: What made it happen? What are the meanings placed in it? We need to understand the meaning that comes from it. Realizations: What is it about? This is where your solutions can be found. What they are doing Excavation: At an observation level, they dig into the problem and create a hole of emotions. Personalization: Once they dig in, they make it personal. Escalation: This is when we start to really have problems. People are worried about the details and escalating it. What they should be doing Information: At the observation level, we actually should be getting the facts and not placing blame on anyone. Appreciation: Acknowledge and realize what they are feeling. Identify the difficulties and emotions without discounting it. Have empathy. Resolution: At the highest level, we finally get to the resolution. __________________________ ABOUT MEL ABRAHAM Mel is the founder of BusinessBreakthrough Academy and Thoughtpreneur Academy where he helpsentrepreneurs bring their businesses to the world and build thelifestyle that they want. TES 080 - How to Create a Compelling Customer Promise

In this episode, #1 Bestselling Author and Highly Acclaimed business & Entrepreneur Expert, Mel Abraham, talks about how you can create a compelling customer promise so that you not only end up with customers for life but with evangelists who are ready to do anything for your business. If you don’t get this right, you will have no distinction in the marketplace, the perception of your value is low and you end up with customers who are runaways. They will buy from you but there is no loyalty and connection. But if you get it right, competition will fade away, your price will not matter and you will build an army of evangelists. To make it happen, here are the principles that you need to know: Expectations are transactional, Be focused on their identity, and Create a buzz from the delivery. The Customer Promise Amplifier This tool allows you to figure out how you deliver your promise to customers in terms of execution, perception, buy criteria, type and impact. There are 3 levels to this: Expectation level At the bare minimum, your execution is based on their expectation and you meet it. The perception in the marketplace is that you’ve got a commodity that you are offering and it’s without any distinction. The buying criterion is the cost and you have satisfied customers who end up being leavers or runaways. Desire Level This is the minimum level that you want to serve. Serve their desires and you have elevated above their expectations. They will look at you and your offer as a premium and the buying criteria is not much the cost but the utility or the impact that it’s going to have in their life. You will have happy customers and they will become repeaters who keep coming back. Unexpected Needs Level You do completely unexpected things so that your customers will look at it and perceive it as extraordinary. Their buying criteria will be based on their identity and you will have customers who are your fans. It will cost you money but in the long term it’s going to pay back as the impact you have will create evangelists who are willing to vocalize for you and are out there talking you up. __________________________ ABOUT MEL ABRAHAM Mel is the founder of BusinessBreakthrough Academy and Thoughtpreneur Academy where he helpsentrepreneurs bring their businesses to the world and build thelifestyle that they want. TES 079 - Defining Your Business Identity & Culture

In this episode, #1 Bestselling Author and Highly Acclaimed business & Entrepreneur Expert, Mel Abraham, talks about defining your business persona and creating a business identity. It is how your customers, employees, team and the people around you identify with your company and brand. We need to be really particular about creating an identity for our business. If we do not get it right, we have no direction as an organization which leads to hiring people that don’t fit our identity needs. Ultimately you are not going to be able to build loyalty in your business. But if you do it right, you are going to create a group of people that are on a mission, they are going to be totally dedicated for your cause and outcome. All these result in the creation of a valued brand. So, what you need to know is that your culture is your aquarium and you need to keep it cleansed. Your tactics are driven by values that you set in the organization and the results are the byproduct of the identity that you create. Business Personal Cycle Values: The very first things that you want to define are the values of your organization. It is how you make decisions. If you are consistent with the values, it will lead to a specific culture. Culture: When culture is done right, your team and employees will be there to follow your cause and not just to get their pay checks. You need to have a culture that serves something far greater. Dialogue: This is the talk and it could be conversations about anything. Interactions between employees, team members, management and the team are all dialogues which build what we call a movement. Tactics: The dialogue and movement determine the tactics that we are going to take. They are the specific actions that you put in place so that they result in certain desirable outcomes. Systems/Processes: When we systematize the thinking, culture, dialogue and tactics, we have something known as a process. These systems or processes drive the results of your organization or business. Results: They are what we want; our ultimate goal. When you get the results that you desire, don’t stop there as the cycle continues and you have to go back to your values. These are the keys to building your business persona. __________________________ ABOUT MEL ABRAHAM Mel is the founder of BusinessBreakthrough Academy and Thoughtpreneur Academy where he helpsentrepreneurs bring their businesses to the world and build thelifestyle that they want.
