The refusal to acknowledge the musicianship and talent during these prime years leave rock music fans screaming for vindication but, do we really need it? Rock music has faced years of being suppressed, ignored, and mistreated yet it still thrives. Although the definition of success has changed there are more new bands than ever before and more platforms for you to access the music. Bakko from Cobra's & Fire and I offer our perspective on why mainstream success for rock music is likely to not happen and why as rock fans we shouldn't care.
