Ticking Time Bomb
Russia hit major cities across Ukraine with increasingly heavy shelling as the conflict escalated on its sixth day while a vast convoy of Russian forces is threatening the capital, Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a passionate speech to the European Parliament in defiance of Russia’s ongoing invasion of his country. The United Nations has admitted that some non-Europeans refugees have faced discrimination while trying to flee to safety at Ukraine borders after their experiences were dismissed as lies and “Russian disinformation” by online commentators.
