Well, another election and another loss. RINOs swept the Mississippi primaries because we are asleep at the wheel. They lie to get elected and have more money to run on our issues. Trump could have been that equalizer to help our candidates, but he has not lifted a finger to make the right choices in primaries. Next, I address the abortion loss in Ohio by noting that abortion is not necessarily a losing issue, but in the context of today’s GOP, it definitely is. If we had a party that was amazing on economic issues, on privacy, on medical freedom, on health care, and then pushed a culture of whole life and promoted adoption, they’d do much better on abortion. Today, I warn that every senior, pregnant woman, and now baby will be bombarded every fall with dangerous RSV shots, mixed with COVID and flu shots. Unlike abortions, these vaccines are essentially forced upon kids and there is no enlightened consent. We’re joined by Dr. Meryl Nass, who is warning that officials have approved a monoclonal antibody to be given to one-day-old babies for RSV. There are so many problems with the rationale and safety of these shots, but that is not slowing the vaccine jihad one bit. Dr. Nass is also fighting her own legal battle after losing her medical license in Maine because she had the gall to save lives from COVID. Do we want to continue virtue-signaling on symbolism as the Left wins the substance? Today, I frame the election as not just a choice between Trump and DeSantis but between two future movements. Also, I explain once and for all why Trump, with his COVID policies, is responsible for both the mail-in election debacle and the inflation. There is simply no way to divorce the inflation from Trump’s policies. Trump baked the cake while Biden put icing and sprinkles on top. We contrast this to DeSantis’ record in actual substance to show how we have not seen a politician like this for a generation or two. On the one hand, the Left is more radical and destructive than ever, placing us in greater existential crisis. We get the governance we deserve. Today, I use a poll showing every red-state RINO as popular with voters to demonstrate the failure of our industry for years. We are in this weak position – facing prosecutions for political speech – because of the failure of our movement to influence power when it had the chance. Today, I warn my colleagues that they must have a plan on how we are going to fight the weaponization and prosecution of Trump. There is no better solution than Trump pressuring McCarthy to defund the prosecutions in the budget bills. Anyone can rail against the Left as a talk show host or on the campaign trail. But why is it that we have failed to govern in accordance with that rhetoric even in red states? Look no farther than the conservative media’s treatment of DeSantis and Rep. Byron Donalds dumping on him for actually revamping the African-American studies curriculum in Florida. Today, I provide the Rosetta stone for why red states aren’t red states. It boils down to the fact that even conservatives are terrified of corporate politics and identity politics. DeSantis has slain both of them and is the first to do so in our lifetime. Rather than celebrating that success, they pile on against him. This is why we are where we are. At the end, I discuss the latest economic news and how we have a permanent, fake economy boxing us out of the American dream. Today, we take a long look at how we got to a point where conservatives are so subversive to their own stated goals. I’m joined by Steve Deace, who contends that fundamentally there is nothing new about the Trump idolatry. Because conservative media was always an industry designed to give the Right what they are looking for rather than acting as leaders, the movement was never focused on outcomes. He believes we do not have a long-term future, and that is why our colleagues don’t care to even think about outcomes. They have acculturated our people into elevating symbolism over substance and reactionary politics over outcomes.
