In light of the court’s ruling to greenlight Biden’s border invasion, Texas not only has an opportunity to stand against the invasion but to undermine the entire premise of judicial supremacism. In this fact-filled show, I explain the true design of the federal judiciary and how the founders envisioned constitutional decompartmentalism, not judicial supremacism. First, I go through a bunch of recent cases showing how Trump’s three appointees are screwing us on critical issues and do not measure up to Thomas and Alito – yet another example of how we have gone backward under Trump. Next, I explain how the understanding that we don’t have a conservative court should finally push our side to reject judicial supremacism altogether. Each branch of the state and federal government has its own responsibility to follow the Constitution as it understands it. Unless we return to this model, red states will be forced to act like blue states by the federal judiciary. Everyone is focused on the need to browbeat DeSantis supporters into voting for Trump. But that is actually the least important issue at this point. It is now incumbent upon Trump’s supporters to confront a number of important questions about Trump’s ability to run and win a campaign, as well as the fact that he continues to endorse RINOs and is promising to elevate bad guys to Cabinet positions. I explain the electoral math problems and conservatives' culpability for ignoring these important questions during the primary. Now is the time to get this out in the open. We don’t need a majority. A small, irate minority can take down a tyrannical majority in one election or legislative cycle. But that requires that minority – however small – to remain untarnished by controlled opposition forces. If this was really about a populist insurgency, then we would see mini-Trumps winning up and down the ballot, but instead we are worse off on that front than ever before. Regardless of what happens in Iowa, our movement has become a listless vessel that has no fixed beliefs or sense of direction. We drift along with the grift like a rudderless boat. I go through the latest news with Trump attacking Vivek and how it is emblematic of the entire fake movement. I also explain why Trump is a controlled opposition within a controlled opposition to neutralize the hard right so that we will never have an effective movement to fight back against the uniparty. There is a reason Trump is racking up the endorsements from the very status quo members of Congress who are selling us out on every issue. Nikki Haley will never be the nominee for president, but her worldview is still the dominant one down the ballot among almost every GOP governor, senator, and even state legislator. Today, I go through the treachery of Republicans on both the state and federal levels to show how we have failed to move the party over on a single issue of substance since the much-vaunted MAGA revolution. Red states are still controlled by the education, health care, cheap labor, and child-care cartels, and the elected Republicans continue to serve them. It’s just that they got smarter and distract us with mendacious rhetoric. We can continue passing around studies on how many people the shots kill. But at some point, we must realize that nothing will change on its own. We don’t have a political movement to take this information and turn this winning issue into a policy victory. Ditto for the border invasion as well.
