Why is it that we have a one-sided civil war with only the left having an effective political movement? Why is it that we elevate subversive voices and politicians on the right who undermine our core values and outcomes? Today, we settle the ultimate debate between my colleague Steve Deace and me: Is it that conservative media voices spew garbage because they know that’s what conservative voters want to hear, similar to the false prophets in the Bible? Or is it that the conservative voters will take whatever they receive from conservative elites, and if we actually had better elites, we can come to the promised land? Steve has decisively come to the conclusion that the people are the problem. He makes a passionate case that although there is evidence conservative elites manipulate unsuspecting followers, DeSantis’ candidacy is the control group on this question. They knew about him and still chose sugar over steak. He believes that even if we had better leaders on the professional Right, a new parallel universe would inevitably develop to offer the people what they want. Today, I continue to make the case for why Speaker Johnson needs to be removed and why Trump must be forced to drop his support for him. Johnson placed a dumb hate crimes bill on the floor yesterday, which has forced conservatives into a false choice. I warn how Johnson’s brand of Republicanism is actually fueling more anti-Semitism on the reactionary Right by stupidly making support for Israel about money and hate crimes legislation rather than about ending Islamic immigration and foreign funding of universities. That would synergize pro-Israel and pro-Jewish initiatives with America first. Stop focusing on the general election. Now is primary time. Today, I explain the case for getting rid of Speaker Johnson (R-La.) and why the timing of most congressional primaries is optimal to maximize pressure on members. Everything going on today can be influenced through our own dominion over red states on the right, but that will require my colleges to demand that Trump stop supporting Johnson. I show how Trump continues to drift to the left and help bail Johnson out and is literally siding with Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.). Finally, I discuss how the recent Utah convention shows that we can single-handedly take over the GOP in one election if we moved from popular primaries to representative conventions. You might have heard a lot this week about the Hamas riots on the college campuses, but where is this coming from? We’re joined today by Daniel Greenfield, an investigative journalist and writer at FrontPage magazine, who intricately connects the dots between Soros, the Ford Foundation, and Rockefeller money and the foreign Muslim Brotherhood promotion of the college riots. I also give a tutorial on constitutional rights and protests to show how there is a difference between freedom of speech and taking over public venues, in addition to school codes of conduct. Congress rarely meets on Saturday, but this week was different. Republican leaders joined with every Democrat to sell us out on foreign aid and everything else that is important. I take a sledgehammer to Mike Johnson (R-La.) for using the Bible and Israel to justify his betrayal when, in fact, even the Israel bill is full of provisions that negate Israel’s security and actually help harness anti-Semitism. Next, we’re joined by Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) for a very thorough debriefing on what occurred on Saturday. Massie explains how Johnson insidiously used a veterans’ bill to grease the skids for Schumer to pass the Ukraine agenda. There is more pervasive opinion on the Right that the GOP is a fake opposition than ever before. Yet these same commentators refuse to look in the mirror and recognize that they have enabled this for years and continue to do so to this day. They either sleep through the critical legislative fights and primaries or sometimes downright subvert them. I discuss the “code of silence” around pointing any finger at Trump for supporting Ukraine funding, even as everyone gets all red-faced over Speaker Johnson’s betrayal (with Trump’s support). Commentators are starting to acknowledge the red-state RINO problem but fail to see how Trump has re-elected nearly every one of them and continues to do so to this day. Unless state governors begin adopting this position, everything we seek to accomplish in the red states will be “vetoed” by the forum-shopped liberal judges. Now that Republicans surrendered domestic policy to Biden, he has a free lane to mess with Israel’s sovereignty. We’re joined today by Lee Smith of Tablet magazine, who explains how Biden has purposely allied with Iran to imperil Israel and then give the impression that Israel needs him to protect its territory from Iran. Lee makes the case that Israel needs to become independent of U.S. aid while we focus on the Islamization here at home. Israel needs to crush the jihadists in order to tamp down the inspiration for jihad among Americans living here. Unfortunately, Speaker Johnson (R-La.) is playing into the Biden administration’s effort to divide the Right by making Israel about foreign aid and tacking on Ukraine funding rather than countering Biden’s policies against Israel. What Republicans should be doing is using must-pass bills to defund the PLO, the Iran deal, and the Lebanese armed forces, abrogate Biden’s alliance with Qatar, designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terror group, and cut off immigration from Middle Eastern countries.
