The Truth About the Federal Response to Western North Carolina | 10/30/24
First, we begin with a roundup of down-ballot news throughout the country. We continue to lack leadership on any of these issues and races outside Florida. Next, we’re joined by Blaze News investigative reporter Steve Baker for a riveting update on the recovery operations in Western North Carolina. Baker has been on the ground with private veteran groups for two weeks and has formulated a clear vision of what is and isn’t going on there. We cut through some of the misinformation on both sides to conclude that yes, the state Guard, FEMA, and the military have been on the ground, but in shockingly low numbers given the magnitude of the tragedy. He explains how during every other equivalent domestic and even foreign natural disaster, we have used a much larger military presence. He also observes how a well-organized cadre of former special operators have changed the way we respond and are building plans and infrastructure for the future. Finally, he discusses his personal fight with the FBI, as he faces prison time for simply reporting from the Capitol on January 6. We discuss the need for Trump to win and pardon nonviolent offenders but also the need for our side to prepare for resistance from terribly misinformed Republicans. Learn more about your ad choices. Republicans Always Surrender Today’s Fight to Chase Tomorrow’s Squirrel | 10/29/24
In our continuing coverage preparing for Republican governance on the other side of the election, I diagnose the problem with the GOP overall. Republicans always focus on yesterday’s issue that is no longer in contention or tomorrow’s distraction that is outside the Overton window. But on the issue in front of us now, which is enough to destroy civilization, they walk in lockstep with Democrats. With that thesis, I give an update on immigration and crime to show how Republicans are actually doing nothing to fight those battles but use cheap talking points about oblique parts of the issue. Likewise, Republicans are basically acquiescing to feminism and gender ideology but are opting to focus on cheap talking points about female sports. I share shocking new survey data showing how feminism and the war on femininity are the source of the transgender problem. ReplyReply allForwardDH Learn more about your ad choices. What Happens if the MAGA Dog Catches the Car? | 10/28/24
Since 2020, the Right in America has been singularly focused on one mission: re-electing Donald Trump. Now that we are on the cusp of possible victory, do we have a plan for "the day after"? Today, I offer an analysis of the state of the race, but more importantly, try to game out what comes next. I explain how we can’t make this personal about loving or hating one man, but about a relentless focus on arriving at specific outcomes. What are the realistic and unrealistic expectations by issue? I offer some opening thoughts. Also, there are many down-ballot issues and races at stake. We are facing a "use it or lose it" moment with power in red states. Learn more about your ad choices. What Is the Plan to Deal with the Coming Economic Collapse? | 10/23/24
Everyone thinks that our survival hinges upon the election results. Obviously, we don’t want Democrats, but let’s not kid ourselves into believing Republicans will do anything to forestall the financial collapse, unless we change the policies and personnel. First, I warn about some concerning figures on Trump’s transition team and how we need to be prepared as a movement to veto bad Cabinet picks. Next, I’m joined by Tracy Shuchart, an expert in financial and commodities markets, to discuss the unprecedented market signals we are observing. We go through all of the signals from the S&P, gold, Treasuries, and economic data to show how we are facing an intractable stagflation bomb with the likelihood of a credit and housing collapse. We prove how there is not a single viable policy on the table to prevent this. In the meantime, Tracy offers some investment advice. She is bullish on gold and silver and also points to at-risk metals as a possible emerging market to watch. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

A Checklist of Action Items if Trump Wins | 10/22/24
We need to seriously prepare a plan to hit the ground running if Trump does pull this one out. I raise some concerns about personnel choices, congressional leadership, and the upcoming lame-duck session. Trump must make it clear that Congress should not pass any transformational bills during the lame duck and that all disaster spending must be paid for with unspent funds from the Green New Deal. Next, I break down the tab for this past fiscal year to show how nobody has a plan to stop the deficit-driven inflation from exploding in the next year — and that Republicans will own all the carnage. So why not start building a plan now? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Republicans Will Never Solve Border Invasion Until Their Lobbyists Ditch Cheap Labor | 10/21/24
We have a very soft movement that is not willing to power through disruptions in order to pursue good policy. This is true across the board, but particularly on the issue of illegal immigration. I explain how illegal immigration would end overnight if Republicans were willing to go after labor brokers and actually enforce employment laws. The problem is that the Left, through an amalgamation of fiscal, cultural, and immigration policies, has created a self-fulfilling prophecy of Americans not wanting to do construction jobs. Republicans must be willing to power through a temporary disruption by removing illegal aliens, raising wages, and fixing our broken education and welfare incentives. Conservatives need to lead by example. No policy change will happen on its own, and the election will be moot if we don’t build a movement willing to message and implement through adversity. Counterpoint: We Actually Have an Under-Feminization Problem (Among Women) | 10/17/24
The discussion challenges the notion that society suffers from excessive femininity, arguing instead that a lack of femininity among women is problematic. It critiques modern feminism's influence and its role in promoting masculine traits over nurturing qualities. The podcast navigates gender dynamics, exposing the dissatisfaction stemming from societal expectations and the evolution of gender roles. It emphasizes the cultural dangers of this imbalance and the importance of traditional femininity for both individual and societal health.

Why the Babylon Bee Is Actually the Most Important Outlet on the Right | 10/16/24
The FBI has now revised the crime statistics to reflect reality. I explain how Republicans have missed an entire decade of messaging and policy opportunities to win back suburban voters on the crime issue. Instead, they pushed jailbreak and bailed out Democrats from their own radical policies foisted upon them by their quixotically unreasonable base. Next, we’re joined by Seth Dillon, CEO of the Babylon Bee. He explains how the Bee is aiming not only to evoke laughter but also to powerfully use the weapon of satire to deconstruct the absurd prevailing narratives in politics and culture. We also discuss the concerns about the growing “woke Right,” which is becoming as mindless as the woke Left. He promises to continue illustrating that absurdity as well with some satirical pieces. Finally, we discuss his activism as a Floridian in fighting Amendment 4, which will kill thousands of babies. He might run a satire company, but he is actually being more effective than most conservatives who claim to be serious thought leaders. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Lifesaving Work of the Florida State Guard and the Need for Strong State Militias | 10/15/24
We begin today’s discussion by observing the budding of a national divorce in Western North Carolina. It’s become abundantly clear that the feds are not really interested in helping, nor are the people interested in accepting the help. We are headed toward red state self-sufficiency, and this effort will be led by veterans. To that end, we’re joined by retired Marine Colonel Mark Thieme, who is now executive director of the new Florida State Guard. He explains the need for the Guard and all of the lifesaving work they have done during natural disasters, as well as missions in North Carolina and at the Texas border. Unmoored from bureaucracy and from any federal control, Thieme is able to recruit talented people with the desire to serve and efficiently utilize their skills for maritime and aviation operations, reconnaissance, and search and rescue to augment the other state agencies. They are light and nimble to focus on the need of the hour. They have gotten so many recruits that they already had to turn away people. The Florida Guard has also been a landing place for veterans who left the service but still want to protect Americans without dealing with woke politics. Are state guards the wave of the future and also the ultimate fulfillment of our Founders’ vision of state-based militias? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Republicans Need a 'Day One' Plan to Deal with Inflation and Invasion | 10/14/24
As the election nears, the spotlight turns to inflation and immigration, two pressing issues that demand urgent attention. The speaker argues that current political promises could worsen these problems, with dire implications for the economy. There’s a call for realistic strategies to address demographic shifts, particularly in conservative areas facing rapid changes. The impact on local communities like Logansport is significant, with challenges in schools and services becoming more pronounced. A plan is crucial to ensure that red America doesn't transform into blue America.
