Over the last few years, and especially in the wake of Russian actions in Ukraine, hybrid warfare—sometimes referred to as hybrid threats—has gained a tremendous amount of attention both in Europe and worldwide.There is a need for an improved public understanding of the challenges posed by hybrid warfare in Norway, as well as other western liberal democracies. This is why Norwegian Atlantic Committee and NUPI organized this public event on the challenges hybrid warfare brings, and what we should do to combat them, on 31 October 2018.
