Penn State fans are very upset at losing Diaz to Duke, and it seems like players are excited to have him coming to campus.After the break, Donald breaks down some of the concerns for Manny Diaz that he followed closely in his stint as the Miami defensive coordinator and head coach. Duke has a big game this weekend, not because of the opponent (though this is a team to be respected) but because we begin to get to see what Duke looks like during the "Proctor is injured" part of the season. It appears Tyrese Proctor may be out for an extended period of time and the Duke Basketball Roundup is here to talk about the changes Duke may make to fill in for the star PG. The Duke Blue Devils had another poor showing yesterday against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and we discuss the first ACC loss on Episode 565.Duke lost 72-68 to Georgia Tech in a game that saw Duke fans lament the loss of Tyrese Proctor to an ankle injury early in the game and saw more poor shooting and stagnant offense. Jason Evans was in the building, so Jason and Donald start the discussion with his vantage point before we get into the headlines. After a couple disappointing games, Duke seeks to get back on track this weekend in Atlanta against the Ga Tech Yellowjackets. They are calling this one of the biggest home games in Arkansas basketball history. That's what happens when Duke comes to town. The Blue Devils will be playing the Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena on Wednesday night as part of the first-ever ACC-SEC Challenge and the Duke Basketball Roundup is here to give you all you need to know about what to expect. For Arkansas, the biggest question may be the health of their star player Trevon Mark, who went down with a nasty back injury in a game against UNC last week. He's the leader of a deep and very experienced Razorback club that has struggled thus far in big games and probably sees Duke as an opportunity to right the ship and restore their tarnished reputation this season. After 2 years of great success at Duke, he is moving on to Texas A&M, one of the big power-players in college football. I guess this is what it feels like when Duke basketball swoops in and grabs a stud recruit at the last minute. The DBR Podcast gang (including a guest appearance by Sam Klein) discuss the impact of Elko's decision from both a rational and an emotional standpoint.
