Sam Raimi's cult classic hit the theaters in 1987 and gave the director his entrance into the major movie industry. One of the first comedy-horror films, Evil Dead 2 also provided a break for Bruce Campbell, who's had recurring roles in Xena and Hercules, but a major role in USA Network's Burn Notice. Though Dave and Wayne frequently disagree, it's fair to say they were on polar opposite ends of the spectrum on this one.

Wayne and Dave examine the quintessential ghost film The Others starring Nicole Kidman, Christopher Eccleston and Finnoula Flanagan. Set in a remote house in Jersey on the Channel Islands, we see the struggle for coexistence between the living and the dead.

Introduced in the 8th episode of the first season, the evil dark fae mesmer Vex has become one of the show's most popular characters. Now, though, we're not sure with which side Vex has aligned himself. Could he perhaps become unaligned? Watch Captain Canuck

Wayne expands on our discussion of Orphan Black and the implications human cloning bring with it. Zeroing in on the classic Aldous Huxley novel Brave New World, we examine possible futures if this burgeoning technology is misused. The BBC produced a version in 1980. Watch it here.

Next to time travel scenarios, story arcs related to dreams and dream states cause more consternation and head scratching than just about anything in the genre field. We all know writer/director Christopher Nolan from the recent Batman movies and perhaps his 2002 Momento, but the 2010 blockbuster Inception is at the top of many film critics must see lists.

Okay, so I'm not a Johnny Depp fan, but Tim Burton's travesty of a film is not the point of this episode. Wayne and Dave discuss 10 genre actresses that have made a significant contribution in the fields of science fiction, horror, fantasy or the supernatural. Incredibly enough, they didn't argue over who deserves the title of First Lady of Scifi. How the heck did that happen?

For many reasons I bypassed Peter Jackson's District 9, but now that I've seen it, I understand what all the fuss was about. Should the panelists ask the fans if they want to be spoiled? And what is it with the hair.

Wayne's been on me to do a zombie show for six months or so, and the time was finally right. Who would have thought you could blend a romantic comedy with zombies? In contrast, 28 Days Later provides a much darker look at one of the most popular apocalypse scenarios.
