The late 80's and early 90's was a down period for Dave's television consumption, so it's long overdue for him to take a look at the second installment in the Star Trek franchise.

Dinah does her best to gain the trust of Huntress and Oracle but still ends up getting grounded. Crime fighting 24/7 takes it out of a superhero, so it's nice to be able to have a social life. Wayne shifts Project X into the DC Comics realm with a look at one of our characters.

We take a look at the comic book inspired WB Network show Birds of Prey that ran during the 2002-2003 fall season. Starring 16 year old Rachel Skarsten, Dina Meyer, and Ashley Scott, the show follows the exploits of three young women fighting crime in New Gotham City after Batman abandoned it. Like Lost Girl, the pilot gives an indication that the show will also be about the search for identity and search for self-worth of the three main characters who've bonded to help make their city a better place.

Dave discusses the events causing him to embrace the Lifetime Movie Network despite the lack of genre fare. The appearance of genre actresses Tricia Helfer and Summer Glau spark his interest in LMN and might we have another segment on Faetalists? Also check out Acting Outlaws.

In the season 4 finale, finally able to find her destiny within the fae community, Kenzi makes the ultimate sacrifice for Bo. Or does she? Tamsin seems to be absolved of her past sins, and we await her future choices. And what is up with Bo and Dyson? Is Doccubus finished?

Kenzi seeks revenge for Hale's death, Lauren gets down and dirty with Evony, a warrior appears ready to defend Bo, and Massimo chows down on the Origin Seed. Some revelations about Vex catch the guys off guard, but it appears we'll be dealing in death for the foreseeable future.

Ordinarily, I'd be all over a tale about mermaids, but the only redeeming grace here is that the story brings Lauren, Dyson and Kenzi closer together as Bo shuts them out to be with Rainer. Arguably, the most poignant scene in the entire series occurs as Kenzi's heart is shattered when the love of her life dies, due in part to her own hubris.

Bo and the audience finally meet The Wanderer, and let's just say, we didn't see that coming. However, the actions of a certain human, no matter how well intended will have to be dealt with, but do we have a new romantic duo in the picture?
