As The Librarians moves into the back half of its third season, the death of one of the characters continues to loom ominously overhead. Tracking down the Eye of Ra, the artifact that should help prevent the release of pure evil into the world, requires the team to descend into the wormhole popularly known as the Bermuda Triangle. Once there, Noah Wyle's script incorporates elements from Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass as Flynn Carsen is forced to examine his own life choices and how they impact those around him. Dave and Wayne predict who is most likely to die before the end of the season, and they take a brief look at the 2016 Doctor Who Christmas episode "The Return of Doctor Mysterio." Episode Grade: A

Dave and Wayne get together in Studio B to knock out two episodes during their lunch break. In "The Librarians And the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy," Eve is marked for death by the Oracle of Delphi, but some quick thinking and a silver compact help her defeat The Reaper in this episode that is bookended with the team in a pizza joint. With two high profile guest stars, "The Librarians And the Tears of a Clown," finds Sean Astin as a heart broken sociopath bent on finding the girl who jilted him at a carnival some twenty years prior. Playing his lost love, Felicia Day rocks the episode in a role we rarely get to see her perform. Episode Grades: 304 B+ / 305 Dave B-  Wayne B

Dave and Wayne discuss the season finale of HBOs Westworld before diving into this week's episode of The Librarians. While Flynn continues his search for Charlene, Stone and Cassandra travel to Sweden to recover a magic crystal. As it turns out, they get caught in the middle of a fight between a group of Frost Giants, and despite his best efforts to prevent it, Stone approves of Cassandra's use of magic to help them return to The Library. Episode Grade: A-

Briefly reunited with Charlene, the team must fight off not only Apep, but also Anubis who has been released via a hole in the space/time continuum. To complicate matters, some of the military personnel working at the super collider facility have been turned into werewolves, but the team rises to the occasion and sends the two villains back through the collider. Additionally, we learn a rather important detail concerning Charlene and her connection to Jenkins and The Library. Episode Grade: Dave A-  Wayne A-+ 

Now that Prospero has been dispensed, the team moves on to other jobs. Concerned that even though the team appears to be ready, Eve worries that each could be stronger with more training. However, before intensive training can continue, the Librarians, including Flynn, are called to Boston to put down Apep, god of chaos who is trying to unleash pure evil into the world. In preparation for the season 3 premiere, Dave and Wayne examine the final three episodes of season two: 208 "The Librarians And the Point of Salvation," 209 "The Librarians And the Happily Ever Afters," and 210 "The Librarians And the Final Curtain." The Prospero and Moriarty story arc finally resolves itself, but we're left wondering what could have been with Eve and Moriarty. Episode Grades: 208 A; 209 A+; 210 A

Our narcissistic preoccupation is examined in an episode that features the fictional character Dorian Grey. Though not a Fictional, he nonetheless presents a formidable foe as it takes the entire to team to erase him from existence.  Episode grade:  B+        

The Librarians find themselves in the middle of a classic Faustian tale, as Eve reunites with a former military buddy who's now running for office after returning to his hometown. In addition to Eve employing a rather ingenious plan to circumvent the devil's compact, we also learn that there's more to her job than even she thought. Co-stars John de Lancie and Michael Trucco highlight the additional cast. Episode Grade: A

Set against a backdrop whereby Moriarty continues his quest to accumulate magical artifacts for Prospero, Flynn Carsen and the Librarians recognize that they must work smarter in the spirit of cooperation if they are to succeed in keeping the world's magic from running wild. And finally, the mystery of the Library's disconnection is solved, and things begin returning to normal. Episode Grade: Dave A-  Wayne  B+

It's back to school for the team as they travel to Wexler College to investigate what at first appears to be a simple missing mascot case. However, there's much more to this college than meets the eye, but it's Cassandra's chance meeting with a kindred spirit that highlights the episode. Episode Grade: Dave A-  Wayne A
