Sometimes we deeply desire more freedom. But at the same time we also fear it, because we’re not sure what to do with it once we have it. In the same way, we often self-sabotage and stand in our own way because the consequences of success are also scary.
In this episode of the “Do the Impossible” podcast, trial lawyer Brian Glass discusses the growth and expansion of his practice, including his struggle with delegating tasks and overcoming founder's guilt. He seeks coaching on how to delegate without interfering or criticizing, and compares his profession to coaching, enjoying the challenge of these roles. Today, I coach him on how to get out of his own way, optimize his business, and how to trust the process of where his business is going.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[[00:01:11] Transitioning to higher level role, struggling with hiring others to do lower level work and creating a positive work environment.
[00:04:44] Delegating unwanted tasks and letting go of control, acknowledging others' strengths and abilities to handle the work.
[00:09:44] Comparison to peers
[00:11:10] Challenging trial experience compared to coaching, enjoys figuring out people, asks if one would prefer work to involve trials and negotiations.
[00:16:47] Navigating resistance to working less and finding purpose.
[00:17:34] Personal growth used to be easier to ignore, but now it's unavoidable.
[00:20:24] Employees are satisfied with the work environment and don't care about competing law firms.

You’re a high achiever. You want to do massively incredible things. Yet, it seems like there’s always something in your way. For most people, that thing in their way is resistance.
Many high achievers don’t reach their potential because they are in misalignment with themselves. So how do you get into alignment? How do you find your purpose? And an even bigger question- why are we here on this planet to do these things anyway?
That’s what I talk about today with guest Host Sam Wegert. You may recognize him, he was on the podcast not too long ago. Sam is a successful real estate investor, a member of Gobundance, and he’s the founder of UpLevel Martial Arts, a business with over 1,500 active clients. He offers a different feel to the podcast today asking me all the big questions.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[00:03:20] We are eternal beings in physical bodies trying to remember who we really are and the present time seems to be a period of rapid progress
[00:07:43] How Frame shifting allows someone to change their reality
[00:12:16] Shift thinking from action-oriented to focusing on changing their frequency and getting in alignment
[00:17:19] Consciousness is both physical and non-physical, with anchors and frequencies affecting our emotions and reactions to external stimuli, leading to stuck patterns
[00:28:13] Don’t set goals.
[00:33:13] Biggest failures lead to the biggest successes
[00:40:13] High achievers are often not in complete alignment with themselves.

How much have you tried to experiment with new ways of thinking and removing your limiting beliefs that hinder your progress toward your goals? We all struggle at some point with creating balance between enjoying the present and pushing ourselves to achieve more.
We must actively remove old, limiting thought patterns that hinder and create resistance toward future growth. And today we talk about how it’s more than possible to do just that, create the life you want, and
In this Do the Impossible podcast episode, we chat with guest Drew Wired. We discuss how conditioning and traditional models of success may no longer serve individuals who have outgrown them. Drew shares his desire to meet his full potential and how he feels challenged to do so without becoming complacent or sacrificing fulfillment in other areas of his life. Something that I think many of you will relate to.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[00:05:03] The answer is to live your life and to find new models as you outgrow old ones.
[00:08:45] Recognize future worry as a thought pattern from an old model; acknowledge changing modes of operation and old thought patterns still running.
[00:09:42] Eliminate pain and struggle
[00:10:11] Mastering stage one of coaching is aligning with yourself and where you're going. Stage two involves addressing concerns that create resistance to future growth by recognizing subtle thought patterns.
[00:11:33] Avoid regression into failure.
[00:15:29] Believing in something new is difficult, but success leads to less desire and more openness.
[00:16:57] The book "Love Money Loves You" is recommended.

66: Changing Your Beliefs In Difficult Situations for Your Biggest Success Yet

Our subconscious mind creates meaning for stressful situations based on past experiences and beliefs. That’s a given for every single person on the planet. We use our current events to confirm things that we had already believed about ourselves, for better or for worse. (But usually it’s for worse). And it’s possible to recognize those patterns and shift into a different mindset and a different frame that actually serves you rather than keeping you playing small. Past negative experiences can lead to positive outcomes in the future.
Today we’re joined by guest Adam Putschoegl, a father, husband, and pediatric cardiologist also involved in real estate and woodworking. He’s experiencing what he describes as a rut and he openly shares the negative feelings and assumptions about himself and what he’s capable of as a result with us. I think many of you will relate to his challenge as I support him with how to shift his mindset to change both his feelings around the situation and the outcomes.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[00:05:34] Manage stress through mindset
[00:07:58] Manage difficult situations and how to reframe them.
[00:10:08] Focus on changing the present.
[00:10:22] "Believe in success, choose how to feel in present situation."
[00:12:29] Process your reactions to shift into alignment with what you want
[00:14:44] Be cautious when choosing business partners and trust your gut instincts.
[00:15:10] Jason’s first business failed due to bad investor, but led to development of coaching methodology.

This is not new information to you that many times the only thing standing in our own way of success is ourselves. We are our only limit. That is especially true for how much we earn.
On this episode of Do The Impossible, we explore the concept of building a tight community to make a business stickier. We discuss how creating connections within the community can make the business more appealing to customers, and offer supplementary services to add value and create a sustainable culture that’s profitable. And how to stop standing in the way of new money flowing in.
Our guest, Nelson Lin, is the founder of the Subtle Asian real estate community with over 20,000 members and today we examine how to generate revenue without seeming transactional, shifting the mindset around making more revenue, and the importance of processing discomfort towards success.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[00:15:45] Your financial mindset affects your business success.
[00:16:26] Pivot business strategy to grow.
[00:17:04] How to monetize a community
[00:18:16] Attempting to fund syndication is less effective.
[00:20:21] Sit through discomfort to receive money.
[00:22:43] Value-based focus can also be a scarcity model.
[00:25:27] Belief in success is challenging, but it’s the most crucial part.
[00:26:29] Make uncomfortable work easier.

How many times have you told yourself that you’re going to wake up early tomorrow to work out? And then when tomorrow comes, you hit the snooze. Then it happens again and again as you stray further and further away from your fitness goals.
We often think it’s a mindset problem. We excuse it on mental toughness, or rather, our lack of it. When really, all it is is a decision. And many of us know that the way we do one thing is the way we do everything. The breakthrough is in action.
Today’s guest is Brad White. Brad is a seasoned businessman and leader, having led numerous companies throughout his career. As the founder of his own company, he is always looking for opportunities to improve himself and his performance. Though he has never been coached outside of sports, he is open to new ideas and insights that can help him grow. One of his biggest challenges is his health, and he sets goals each year to improve it, but feels he often falls short. In 2023, he is focusing on mindset blocks that are holding him back from achieving his health goals and hopes to break through those barriers to achieve greater success. Today I support him in doing just that.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[00:05:02] Waking up at 06:00 is a decision, not a mindset shift.
[00:06:30] The frequency of your body affects your mindset, and aligning your frame can change habits.
[00:11:04] Focus on solutions, not problems.
[00:12:19] Learn to love working out
[00:13:55] Mindset shifts occur by removing contradictions
[00:19:36] Shift to a new perspective without being restricted by past patterns
[00:24:46] Coaching aligns clients and helps change old patterns.

63: The KEY to Unlocking Your Potential and Finally Achieving Your Desired Lifestyle
🧠 Join My Free Monday Mindset Reset Call: https://www.jasondreescoaching.com/mmr ➡️ Book a Free Session at: http://freeintrosession.com/ We often think “I will be happy once I have-“. “I can do this with my life when-“ Not realizing that creating a conditional scenario limits our ability to make it happen. Believe it or not, the outcome is not as conditional as we think and we may actually be creating more resistance by framing it in such a narrow way. Today I coach our guest Damon Amato, a successful real estate investor and former athletic trainer about lifestyle being the most important thing. How you can be present for your children’s activities, still have the flexibility to travel, go out with friends, and host parties. Because alignment is where you have to start. Often what we find when we are in flow is that life simply wants us to be willing to do the work, it won’t necessarily have you do it. Just the willingness can be a total game changer. Key Takeaways: [00:00:00] Intro [00:05:32] Don't focus on how to achieve your goals but on the end goal itself.[00:07:59] Frequency affects financial mindset [00:10:39] Using a decision to align at the macro level creates certainty. [00:13:22] The right action won't work in the wrong environment. [00:14:48] Setting higher goals brings up old mental patterns, overcoming them is key to success in work and lifestyle. [00:15:44] Continuous improvement brings bigger shifts [00:22:52] Alignment with the process allows for growth. Nonspecific goals lead to a better life. [00:23:52] Don't say no to doing the work [00:25:55] Outro --- ➡️ Get Coached by Jason: https://www.jasondreescoaching.com/GetCoached Visit https://www.jasondreescoaching.com/ and explore what is possible: - Performance Coaching - Mindset Education & Training - Community & Peer Group - Mentoring & Mastermind --- Do the Impossible is a weekly podcast with Jason Drees that focuses on helping you align your mindset for success. If you’re experiencing a similar situation, this is the episode for you.

Success or failure is part of the journey regardless of what decision you make. So you might as well go for the ones you truly want to make.
We play small in life because the fear of failure is so rampant in our DNA and our limiting beliefs. But you can choose out of it at any time. You can choose to see the higher possibility that is available to you.
Entrepreneurship is risky, but so is staying the same. So is the possibility of looking back on your life and wondering “what if?”.
On today’s episode, I coach Marta, a client who’s looking to make a career change into the entrepreneurial world. It comes with its own risks and rewards. The biggest challenge can often be feeling supported by those around us and by our own mindset. Today we address all those fears and make a significant mindset shift that allows us to take action.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[00:08:39] The importance of making a decision to become an entrepreneur
[00:10:56] Take risks, trust the process, and focus on getting in the game.
[00:12:13] Don't settle for being average. Success comes from your ability to persist no matter the difficulty.
[00:16:22] Be authentic, face fear, strive to avoid failure.
[00:20:08] Believe in yourself, outgrow mentors.
[00:26:16] How to move into the version of yourself that knows what to do
[00:27:56] Focus on becoming the version of yourself that has the answers and create a plan to achieve it.
[00:29:18] Embrace the unknown and take ownership of your life.
[00:34:04] Believing in an attraction-based universe leads to certainty in closing deals. Personal faith or understanding is better than relying on individual deals.

We think our only options are to "stay" or "go bigger", not realizing that that mindset in and of itself is limiting us to all of the possibilities in between. We set goals with the belief that once they are achieved, only then are we worthy. But that's not how the universe or life works.
Setting goals on process rather than on specified goals that "sound good" is how we optimize our path to success, and often reveals the true path that we're meant to follow. That's what we dig into with our guest, Jay on today's episode.
Jay's life has been full of successes, beginning with building a business that he eventually sold. This afforded him the opportunity to move to Hawaii, which many would consider the pinnacle of achievement. With young children aged seven and nine, he is now contemplating whether to dive back into the fray or to enjoy a more leisurely pace with his family.
Key Takeaways:
[00:00:00] Intro
[00:07:36] Creating our own reality through alignment and frequency. Mindset is a byproduct of frame and frequency.
[00:09:05] Staying in a state of stagnation will lead to boredom and depression.
[00:12:31] Change your brain's old patterns to achieve goals in a new way.
[00:15:34] Entrepreneurs focus on the future and struggle with gratitude.
[00:18:58] Alignment is key.
[00:22:38] Advice on pursuing dreams despite not knowing how, using personal experiences as inspiration.
[00:24:09] Prioritize and set goals, focus on the process, and be aware of feedback.
[00:29:35] Avoiding negative leverage.
[00:31:54] Be in alignment with what you want
