ChatGPT is an AI tool that’s taken educators by storm, and some are calling for a ban. Yale lecturer and journalist Joanne Lipman argues to keep it in classrooms, and she considers the various historical innovations that once concerned academics–from calculators to Google. It’s a sign that inflation could be moderating, but the Federal Reserve doesn’t meet to discuss interest rate hike policy until February.
