S1 E3 | Defining Tokenized Communities w/Jihad Esmail

On this episode of Rehash, we’re talking about tokenized communities and the role tokens play in DAOs and web3 with Jihad Esmail, who leads community and partnerships at Syndicate and is a core contributor and Forefront. We begin the episode by following Jihad’s journey into web3 and discussing how he got started at Forefront and Syndicate. Jihad then gives us an overview of social tokens and tokenized communities aka DAOs. S1 E2 | Navigating Web3 as a Student w/Regan O'Malley

On this episode of Rehash, we’re chatting with Regan O’Malley. Regan is a student at USC, works part time at Opyn, and is a founding member of the Astro Girls Society team, Astronaughties. To kick off the episode, Regan explains her incredible journey into web3. Thanks to her brother, and some new friends at Index DAO, Regan went from four Twitter followers to over 3000 in just one week. She embraced this opportunity and has continued to make incredible contributions to the web3 space since. Regan explains the challenges newbies face when entering web3 for the first time, and gives listeners advice on how to navigate DAO onboarding, DAO compensation, and even choosing the right DAO for you. Astro Girls is a generative pfp project with artwork created by @eleven_gua. The mission of the project is to help women onboard into web3 and promote diversity in the space. Regan gives us some insight into the story of how Astro Girls came to be, as well as her own experience working with a team of incredible women from all around the world. Finally, Regan leaves us with some tips for young women and college students like herself who want to go full-time web3.
