I spoke with Vishal Sunak, the founder and CEO of LinkSquares, an AI-powered contract lifecycle management and legal task management solution. I spoke with Peter Callaghan, the Chief Revenue Officer at Pagefreezer, a technology company that provides compliance and litigation support technology. We discussed how litigators can leverage data and analytics to gain a competitive advantage, new opportunities law firms can create with detailed intelligence, and the insights Law Firm Intelligence can provide to support legal teams in their decision-making.

I spoke with Jim O’Hare, the Vice President of CLM Services at LegalEase Solutions. We discussed how legal teams are using artificial intelligence with CLM, ways that ChatGPT is augmenting how companies are using AI, and whether emerging AI technology will increase a legal department’s productivity.

I spoke with Ignat Postny, the Executive Director at TAG Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specializing in corporate governance, asset protection, and M&A projects for high-net-worth individuals and business owners. We discussed the challenges that legal professionals face in deploying new technology, the impact of legal process automation, the process of developing software for the legal profession, and the risks of using AI in legal.

I spoke with Jamie Berry, the President of Evolver Legal Services, an e-discovery and litigation support services company. We discussed how legal teams are using AI in e-discovery, the shifting focus of legal education, and ways that e-discovery is evolving.

I spoke with Connie Brenton and Jeff Franke, the founders of LegalOps.com, a membership community providing legal operations and other professionals with resources and events, including an inaugural conference in October. We discussed how the field of legal operations has changed, what attendees at the "Running Legal Like a Business" conference can expect, and the transformation of the role of the general counsel.

I spoke with Bill Piwonka, Chief Marketing Officer at Exterro, a provider of legal GRC software designed for in-house legal, privacy, and IT teams at Global 2000 and AmLaw 200 organizations. We discussed recent developments in privacy in the US and abroad, best practices to streamline the DSAR process, and techniques for ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
