Guest Bio:Today's guest, Brent Bohn, is the owner of 43 McDonald's franchises. He is someone that I've gotten to know really well over the last couple of years. We've gone on trips to Mexico and Paris and I've had the chance and the opportunity to sit down many times with him and talk business and talk about how he built this little empire, one Big Mac at a time. And for anybody that's ever been in the fast food industry or been in the franchise business, then you are familiar with how difficult it is to run even one restaurant, one location. And Brent has 43 currently and he's buying more all of the time. His story is truly one that I think a lot of people build to learn from. It is a grind to be in that industry and it's really something that I love the brand story because he started at the bottom. His father in law had a couple of McDonald's restaurants and brought Brent in, but he had to start literally at the very bottom in the fast food industry and worked his way up to ultimately become partner and start buying his own franchises. And I love being able to share his story because he's been able to do so much with what he's done.

Guest Bio:One of the best parts about doing this podcast is I get to pull exceptional people from every part and every walk of life and interview them, sit down with them and talk about their lives and what they're doing to live an exceptional life. And my guest today, Cara Chatwin, I've known for probably a dozen years now. I've known her when she was single and then when she met her husband, Derek, who is also a close friend of mine. And then now that they've become YouTube and Instagram influencers, the Chatwins, go check them out on YouTube. They have such a fun page. They really started to blow up on social media when a couple of years ago, Cara, who already had one child, a young daughter, got pregnant with triplets and oh my gosh, if you want to see a fun family, somebody that knows how to have a good time, to see little kids running around. It's hilarious. It feels like they're getting photobombed by little kids on every single video and just such a fun family to follow and to watch. So I sat down with Cara and talked a little bit about how they're dealing with the quarantine and the coronavirus with, you know, four small children. I can only imagine. A lot of things in their life probably actually haven't changed that much where, you know, that many kids, it does get hard to leave home.

In 1988, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance with minors in Philosophy and Chinese (he studied in China for a semester at Nanjing University). Guest Bio:Today's guest, Kevin Trost, is the president of Clear Home. This guy manages thousands of sales reps that go out every year and they sell satellite and cable door to door. He's also one of my close friends. I've known this guy for 15 years. If ever I felt like I missed out in life on something, it was by the time I met this dude, he was already married. And I can promise that we would have had so many good times and shenanigans had we'd been single at the same time. But he has moved on to bigger and better things, and he is killing it. And life is such a good time. It was recently a guest on his podcast, Blades of Steel, where they just love to talk about sports. I also have a podcast for the door to door industry. Kevin is a natural leader. He's a kind of guy that you just know cares about you. And this is a really fun podcast for me. There's so much knowledge here having the experience he does, training all these Rebs, managing all these reps and just taking care of them. And so I know you're going to love Kevin. Guest Bio:Rachel Slawson was crowned Miss Utah USA 2020 on Saturday, January 18, making her the first out contestant to win the coveted title. Rachel, 25, will continue on the same history-making path when she competes on a bigger stage in the Miss USA pageant this spring. Since its inception in 1952, Miss USA has never had an openly bisexual contestant, until now.At 19-years-old, Rachel tried to commit suicide after she lost Miss Utah USA, she wrote in a candid post on Instagram just one day after winning the pageant. Rachel was crowned Miss Utah USA 2020 after competing in the pageant five times. “After a few trips to the psych ward, being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder (the reason I had such an extreme reaction to losing a pageant) and finally coming to terms with who I am as a queer woman,” she wrote in part in the caption of a photo from the night she was crowned. As Miss Utah USA she plans to share her “truth.”She works as a suicide prevention advocate for the Crisis Text Line and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Rachel speaks out frequently about her own experiences, both good and bad with mental health struggles on social media. Her hashtag, #IAmWhy, promotes self-worth. Rachel has spoken about mental health at events, including the TEDxCitrusParkWomen event in California on December 7, 2019. She’s focused on breaking down the stigmas surrounding bipolar disorder and other mental health issues, which she blogs about on her website.

Guest Bio:Growing up in Boise, Idaho, I was the middle child of 7, in a very athletic family. With my dad as my mentor and trainer, I started hitting the gym and the track from an early age. I immediately fell in love with fitness, and there wasn’t much that I couldn’t do.By the time I started high school, I was smashing all the weight lifting records and playing high school football, which later led me onto a college football career. At 23 years old, my football career had just ended earlier than I wanted it to, I was fresh off a divorce, a college drop-out, and I knew I needed to make a change.I decided to dig deep and do the thing I knew best. Pick me up off the floor and get after it.I was approached to take part in the Boise Fit Expo’s Fit Body Contest. After coming away with a win, I soon started to look for other competitions. I found the Muscle & Fitness Male model search competition in Las Vegas held during the Olympia. I worked hard and got into the best shape of my life, all while finishing my bachelor’s degree. At the conclusion of the contest, I walked away from the winner. That win really springboarded me into the fitness scene.Since then, I’ve competed in multiple bodybuilding and physique competitions, and have been a spokesperson for bodybuilding.com, Optimum Nutrition, and Gymshark. I’ve appeared on multiple magazine covers including Muscle & Fitness, Men's Fitness and Iron Man.
