The 35-year-old father-to-be was walking with his pregnant wife, Yesenia, when a drunk driver jumped the curb and struck her and their unborn baby. His wife didn't make it, but the doctors saved his baby's life. James views his child as a gift that emerged from unspeakable tragedy.
