A baby is born and just as the parents are going to give him a name a wise man arrives at their door telling him their son is very special and they should not name him yet. He is called nameless until he decides he needs a name and sets out to get one.

The witch has an ugly daughter who is always looking in the mirror trying to make herself more beautiful. She tries everything she can think of. One day her mom asks her to look after the cauldron while she is gone. The witches daughter finds out where true beauty comes from.

Daffodellia is a fairy who loves painting flowers. She travels around at nighttime painting all the beautiful flowers for the people to see. One night she hears crying coming from a very bare place that has no flowers and goes to see who is crying.

Raggedy Ann and Fido are all tucked in for the night but Fido cannot sleep. He feels that something is going to happen so he gets Raggedy Ann up to see what is happening.

Louise is dressed and ready to go out coasting on the hill when she hears her Mother calling. She knows her mom is going to tell her she needs to clean up before she goes to play. Louise slowly gets undressed and goes upstairs to clean up but something happens before she can finish.

There once was a rich king who loved his kingdom. He threw parties and celebrations that went on for days. After all the parties the king could not get to sleep. For days and days he couldn’t sleep so he offered half of his kingdom to anyone who could help him get to sleep.

It was Springtime and Mr. Possom was awake and very hungry. He didn’t have any food so he decided to visit his friends to eat some of theirs. His visit to Mr. Bear’s house does not go quite as planned and he gets a big fright.

The Good Sea Monster is a story about a sea monster that all the sailors think is scary. One night after a storm the sea monster goes out to see if anyone needs any help. He finds a little boy floating on a plank and takes him to the island. What will happen to the boy?
