Matt is the founder of a range of E-Commerce brands including Midnight City, Neon Beach and now his newest brand, Space Goods. He is also the host of the wildly successful podcast, The Midnight Pod.Matt first started his business journey while attending University in Newcastle, starting a dropshipping brand selling ripped jeans, this then evolved into a range of different dropshipping businesses that allowed Matt to drop out of University and travel the world while making money from his laptop.Matt, a designer at heart, then decided to build brands. In this episode, I sat down with Grayson Hart, Grayson was scrum-half for the Scotland national team when, aged 25, he was diagnosed with a degenerative knee injury, this was the deciding factor for Grayson to start to look at alternative options to constantly taking pain killers.Grayson used £10,000 savings for seed money, and spent hours on end on calls with hemp farmers, extraction labels and WADA to understand their testing protocols, before linking up with a new extraction method that could assure certified CBD for all athletes to safely use.Since then Puresport has continued to grow rapidly within the health and wellness space. Turnover hit £2.1 million last year, Hart’s first full year within the business since retiring from professional rugby.
