Suicide Intervention with Shauna Van Dyke
 In this episode of 15:14, Shauna Van Dyke joins us to discuss how we can intervene when someone shares their thoughts of committing suicide. Shauna is a Member of the BCC Council and serves as Executive Director of The Association of Biblical Counselors. She is a certified biblical counselor who founded Truth Renewed, a ministry that provides free biblical counseling to the community. Shauna enjoys speaking at women’s events, is the writer of The Everyday Counselor, and hosts a podcast called Speak the Truth. She is married to Michael and has two sons, Dustin and Jaxson.

The Next Executive Director of the BCC Dr. Kevin Carson
 This episode of 15:14 features Dr. Kevin Carson, who will begin serving as the Executive Director of the BCC in 2026. Dr. Carson is the Pastor of Sonrise Baptist Church in Ozark, Missouri, and has been teaching biblical counseling in various seminaries since 1999. He also serves as a counselor at Sonrise Biblical Counseling Ministry, is certified by both ACBC and IABC, and serves on the IABC board. In addition, he is an author and a frequent speaker at conferences, retreats, and seminars. Dr. Carson and his wife, Kelly, have four children, one son-in-law, and two grandsons. A BCC Council member since its inception, he shares in this conversation how he came into his new role and what he looks forward to as he leads the BCC.

The Lived Experience of Suicidal Ideation with Rush Witt
 In this episode of 15:14, Rush Witt joins us to discuss the lived experience of someone who is contemplating suicide. Rush presented on this topic at the 2024 BCC Leadership Summit. With over 25 years of experience as a counselor and pastor, Rush Witt helps people grow through compassionate, biblical guidance. He is the author of books including Diehard Sins: How to Fight Wisely against Destructive Daily Habits and I Want to Escape: Reaching for Hope When Life Overwhelms. He also trains counselors, equipping them to support others with wisdom and care. He pastors in Bexley, Ohio, and enjoys reading, writing, distance running, listening to film scores, and spending time with his family. Alongside pastoral responsibilities, Rush serves as Acquisitions Editor and Manager for New Growth Press (that means he helps authors develop and publish book ideas).

Dr. Wayne Mack - Part 2 (Rebroadcast)
 This episode of 15:14 is the second of a two-part rebroadcast honoring the life and ministry of Dr. Wayne Mack. Dr. Mack was a beloved leader and teacher in the biblical counseling movement, and his impact has been felt by countless students, pastors, counselors, and believers around the world. At the Biblical Counseling Coalition, we are deeply grateful for the faithful investment Dr. Mack and his family made through decades of ministry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mack served in many roles—as chairman of the graduate and undergraduate counseling programs at The Master’s University and Seminary in Los Angeles, as an elder at Lynnwood Baptist Church in Pretoria, South Africa, and as the Director of ACBC Africa. He was recognized at the highest level of membership in the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and authored 28 books addressing a wide range of counseling issues.
Wayne was a devoted husband to his wife, Carol, since 1957. Together, they raised four children and welcomed into their family three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and many grandchildren.
