Dr. Gene Getz’s book “The Measure of a Man” is a classic overview of Biblical masculinity that has been read by millions of men. Pastors and leaders around the world have taught from that book and from the more than 60 books he has written. He is a pastor to pastors across the nations and daily meets with and counsels key faith and cultural leaders.
Gene wrote a book “Sharpening the Focus of the Church” out of his work in the classroom as a noted professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and in 1972 it changed the course of his life. With a few close friends he launched Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas which has become an international movement of churches. It seems that no matter what Gene puts his hands to, it brings people to Jesus and helps transform culture.

What would it feel like to be reunited with your biological birth mother for the first time on national television? That’s exactly what happened to Sam Collier the Lead Pastor of Hillsong Atlanta. Today on BraveMen Ps. Sam shares the remarkable story of his life’s journey from orphan to nationally recognized Christian leader. His dramatic testimony is also the subject of his best-selling book “A Greater Story”.
Twins Sam and Sara Collier were given up for adoption when they were newborns and were adopted by Belinda and Lamar Collier of Decatur. The siblings wrote into the “Steve Harvey” show to ask for help in finding their biological mother. Unbeknownst to Sam and Sara, Harvey was able to track down their biological mom, as well as their three siblings. Sam has strong views on current events and is a recognized faith thought leader.
Sam is also the founder of A Greater Story Ministries which houses a nationally televised interview series and podcast called “A Greater Story with Sam Collier”. He lives with his wife and co-pastor, Toni, and their daughter in Atlanta, Georgia.

JB is a multiple Emmy Award-winning network broadcaster, has hosted the Super Bowl nine times, is a founding partner of the World Series Champion Washington Nationals and was elected into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame in August 2020.

Most of us know JB from “Thursday Night Football” on CBS and The NFL Network, co-hosting “Fox NFL Sunday” but most of us didn’t know that he was a three-time All-Ivy league basketball player and is in the Harvard Basketball Hall of Fame. That along with his numerous broadcast awards he has also been deeply involved in his local church and in a number of charitable organizations, including GENYOUth of which he is a Board Member, the Ron & Joy Paul Kidney Center at George Washington University and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. JB is an ordained minister and is actively involved in speaking at churches and conferences around the country.
