As we start the wisdom for life series in Proverbs 1 & 2, in this teaching, we aim to answer two questions  1. What is Wisdom? 2. Who am I in relation to Wisdom?

Picking up from the last teaching of 'Through the church' we see how everyone has a part to play in the Church just like the body in 1 Corinthians 12 in three headings; 1. Church is a team sport. 2. Everyone has to play. 3. Your contribution matters.

In this teaching, we learn from 2 Peter 1:5 how God has already provided for you His divine power, His plan for you and why you should put more effort into your faith so you may produce fruit.

It's only in Jesus that we experience God's blessing We go back to Abraham in Genesis, where we see what the heart of the father means for us this season.

Being a missional church 

Three things the Bible ... and doughnuts... remind us to be thankful for :   God chose me.  God gives us His Spirit.  Be thankful for what God has already given us. - Focus on the doughnut, not the hole.
