Helicopterism

There's a very fine line when it comes to helping our kids through things and doing everything for them. Letting them explore and learn on their own can have so many benefits. We're discussing all things helicopter-y and how to let go so our kids can find their own path and build confidence and resilience along the way. If you haven't checked out the special time guide, make sure to do that and also these journal prompts from Michelle for our own self exploration. Michelle's no yelling workshop will be Nov. 9th, 10-12 pm, don't miss it!! Changing Behaviors with Play

Let's talk about playing with our children and why it is such a great tool. Children at play are in their natural state and when we can meet them there, we can guide them to connect, think more clearly and cooperate more easily. Play definitely did not come naturally to the two of us, listen to how we integrated it into our lives and check out Michelle's list of games here. This book is also very helpful for finding fun ways to get physical with your kids. Let us know what you think by leaving a review and don't forget to rate and subscribe! Interested in learning how to balance parenting and technology?
