Lenin's Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism is a classic text of Marxist political theory that analyzes imperialism as capitalism's advanced, monopolistic stage. Lenin argues imperialism arises from monopoly capitalism's drive for profits and new markets, resulting in finance capital dominating global economics, intense rivalries among imperialist powers, and the systematic exploitation of colonized nations.
