Chris Fryer and his wife Sarah founded the plant-powered pie company in 2018 on the banks of the River Tyne from their converted horsebox. The couple were getting tired of their careers; Chris was a full-time teacher, while Sarah was a medical secretary. After a year of experimenting with different flavours and recipes in their kitchen, the Fryers launched Magpye - a vegan pie company specialising in comfort food.

Rachel Kettlewell is a mother of three who founded the reduced sugar jam brand ‘Fearne and Rosie’ while on maternity leave. Joe Foster is the founder of the legendary shoe brand Reebok, which he started with his brother Jeffrey in 1958.  During his time at Reebok, Joe built the brand to become bigger than Nike and pioneered what we today call influencer marketing.
