Micaiah Carter on photography, grief and American Black Beauty

Micaiah Carter is a New-York based photographer, who portrayed Pharrell Williams, Naomi Osaka, Selena Gomez and others for the likes of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Vice, The New York Times and many more. Micaiah is a remarkable storyteller, and his ability to use photography to transport us into worlds filled with love and tenderness is spellbinding. In our conversation Micaiah opens up about his early memories, looking through his father’s photographs of the 70s Black America and how these provided an early influence for his own creative practice. Anna Charity on Headspace, sex, death and character design

Anna Charity is a freelance creative director. She was also the first head of design at Headspace, who established the headspace brand we know and love, and for the past three years, she’s been heading up design at Kama - a sexual wellness business that sees pleasure as an important part of our health. In our conversation, we talk about branding and design for things that are invisible - like meditation and also for topics that are sensitive - like sex.
