Serenity was just 7 years old when her abuse began. Raised by a single mother who struggled to provide for her 3 children, she eventually met a man who vowed to take care of all her financial stress and help step in and raise her 3 children. What was not disclosed was that this relationship endeavor was not predicated on love, protection and honestly... but on lies, deception, pedophilia and abuse. This is the story of how a vulnerable mother and family were used as prey for a monster in disguise to feed on...This is a harrowing story of horrific sexual and physical domestic abuse that missed many marks on being prevented. Serenity gives a rare glimpse into the mind of a young child struggling to survive and a mother too broken down and dependent to realize what was happening right under her nose. The story continues to reveal the insurmountable side-effects of this abuse that continued on as a helpless child grew into a young woman who wanted nothing more than love, protection, stability and friendship yet found herself in situation after situation of abuse that began in the household and resulted in human sex trafficking. This time we travel back to her childhood to reveal what she discovered growing up in the Sherborne boarding school system that set her on fire to continue the incredible activism work she does now as an adult, shedding light on and bringing attention to the abuses her brothers endured while also exposing the harrowing historical cover-up of Sherborne Prep involving decades of child sexual abuse scandals. And ever since, she has been campaigning for justice for the survivors of the horrific CSA that took place within the boarding school system at Sherborne during the years of 1923 - 1998 by sadistic pedophile Robin Lindsay during the time he and his father, Fred, reigned over Sherborne Prep. These scandals still have yet to be investigated despite whistleblowers like Joanna and her brother, John, coming forward and speaking out. Joanna had what most people would see as or consider to be a privileged childhood. Sending children to boarding school was a generational pattern on both her father's and mother’s sides of the family and the tradition was continued with Joanna and her 3 brothers. A week after her 8th birthday Joanna was sent to Knighton House, a Preparatory Boarding School for Girls in Dorset while her brothers were sent to Sherborne Prep School (then only for Boys), separating the family. This not only changed Joanna's life dramatically being separated from her parents and family unit at such a young age, but it also brought to life the realities of "Boarding School Syndrome" which encapsulates the seldomly discussed side-effects of separating children from their families at a young age electively & the unconscious and incomprehensible traumas they might endure that can impact them for a lifetime.Joanna, who has spent an immense amount of time understanding her own experiences and the impact growing up in boarding schools has had, has also spent over 12 years of her adult life illuminating the truth behind Sherborne's dark history, risking everything to get justice for her brothers and for all survivors of Sherborne CSA. We are calling for an immediate investigation by authorities into the allegations made by Joanna & it is my belief that the info in this episode will help save lives.Originally slated to be Part 2, this episode got bumped up to Part 1 due to Joanna wishing to use this video in her investigation with police.Joanna was just 25 in August 1990 when she escaped the Gulf War from Qatar and landed a job as a post grad working for the UAE Royal Family in Knightsbridge, London - carefully selected as a Trilingual PA from many applicants sent by a top PA Agency.Eager to be an asset to UAE Royals, Joanna did her best to excel at everything that was asked of her, considering her intended career was to become a diplomat for the UK Diplomatic Corps. Her boss, Ahmed Obaidly was UAE Royals’ top Diplomat in London since 1960s.This was when the horror began...Having just escaped the Gulf War & feeling highly vulnerable, Joanna assumed she was entirely safe working for the UAE royal family & did as she was asked. An immediate perk of her job was health insurance & a week into her job she was taken to get a medical exam that included gynecological STD testing. She was tricked by her recruiter, an Office Manager called Monika and it was only in hindsight she could see the STD testing was an order from her employers to ensure she was 'clean' & able to be used for sexual abuse & rape by their germaphobic top diplomat. She was asked to travel to Cannes and Paris as part of her PA role because Holbein Anstalt managed UAE Royals’ property both in UK and abroad.
