Joining us this week is Tracy Minchin - Founder and Director of ‘The Ruby Organization’! In their words: “The Ruby Organization is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. In coordination with other area service providers, we offer resources and mentoring for women seeking to leave the sex industry or are victims of human trafficking. We provide awareness training for the community and have a field team working with women in area strip clubs and the sex industry to offer hope and opportunity.” One of the many reasons I’m excited to speak to Tracy today is because one of the most frequent questions I get asked is, “What can I do to get involved in this fight against human sex trafficking?” Hopefully this episode inspires you to walk away with amazing insight on how to research organizations that exist in your area while also giving you some tools on what questions to ask and what to look for in your own quest to take action. The other reason why I’m excited to have Tracy on is because we are going to talk about an element of sex trafficking that we haven’t covered in depth often enough on this show - adult sex trafficking. If you’ve been following our podcasts, you have heard many stories of the horrific things that happen to children when they are born or sold into these horrific systems. But what happens to that child down the road if they never leave or escape these systems? What happens to the naive and vulnerable adult women who weren’t born into these systems but get promised money, a lavish lifestyle, and fame and fortune, only to be thrown into a strip club to end up being trafficked and abused? If you’ve been following my podcast and have listened to Mike’s episodes or any of the parents who have been on my show alleging the Family Court trafficked their children to their abusive parent, the words ‘parental alienation’ come up rather frequently. This topic is controversial in the sense that the definition is so poorly and vaguely defined that it leaves a lot to be desired in how it’s interpreted and by whom. Mike’s work is recognized nationally and internationally and it’s been an honor getting to share snippets of what he is working on around the clock on this show. He’s someone I look at with certainly as an authority on the family court system and it will do you well to listen to him. Whether it’s you or someone you know dealing with the court system - knowledge is absolutely necessary when you enter the court - especially when it involves our little ones. Josh didn’t have to get into this fight and does his podcast for free for all of us. He stepped into a fight he could have easily ignored and stayed quiet about and for this reason and more I consider him a hero and someone I admire and am inspired by.Today we are going to build off last week’s podcast with Sean Hibbeler and dive deeper into the Flat Earth theory - but this time from a Biblical perspective and angle. This was a topic I shied away from for a long time because - perhaps like many of you - I thought it was a ‘conspiracy’ before I actually took the time to explore it. However, the deeper I’ve allowed myself to go down this rabbit hole, the more sense it makes and the more I realize that the narrative we are taught as children is simply more indoctrination to keep us from having conversations like what you’re about to hear today. Holidays are something we are so conditioned to celebrating that we don't even think to ask questions about what they mean and if the meanings we were led to believe are actually true. And no one breaks this topic down better than SRA survivor Lisa Meister! Born into the occult, Lisa began having recall of SRA at the age of 29 and her whole world as she knew it turned upside down. In addition to discussing Halloween and other holidays, we also discuss what healing strategies and modalities helped her get to where she is today - successful entrepreneur, content creator, book author, public speaker, podcast host, wife, mother, and so much more.This time of year can be especially hard for occult and SRA survivors as many of the biggest rituals of the year are centered around what we celebrate as 'Halloween'. Seeing all the horror paraphernalia - costumes, masks, jack-o-lanterns, horror movies, blood, gore - can be very traumatic because it is all mocking the torture that ritual abuse survivors endure on Halloween and all year round.
