With Judge Boasberg finding probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt of court and Judge Xinis, who's presiding over the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case, eyeing sanctions as well, there is no doubt that the Trump administration has openly defied court orders at this point. What remains unknown is what happens next. We are all watching with bated breath to see if the Trump administration respects any judicial authority at all, or if we have reached a point where judicial orders no longer hold any sway over the regime. Signalgate, the Signal thread heard round the world, a major national security leak, happened because of the ineptitude of Trump's national intelligence officials but instead they're blaming... the journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic, who caught them.
