Grandma got scammed by a prince? How to prevent and protect from elder financial abuse and scams with Brian Watson

This week on Fraudish, Kelly speaks with Brian Watson, who has decades of experience in financial crimes. Most recently, he has transitioned into non-profit work in preventing elder financial scams and abuse. If you have an elder loved one, this episode is especially important, as we discuss how to prevent and report financial crimes against the elderly. Especially as these scams are getting more and more sophisticated every day. Brian spent 28 years in Federal Law Enforcement investigating financial crimes as a Special Agent with IRS Criminal Investigation. He spent much of that time as a Public Information Officer warning the public about financial related scams. He was so impressed by R.O.S.E., he decided to join the team.
