The Denver Nuggets fell to 0-2 on the season, losing to the Los Angeles Clippers 109-104. The Nuggets started out the game slow before turning things on in the third quarter. Late foul calls and superb play from Normal Powell down the stretch pushed Los Angeles to victory. The Denver Nuggets dropped their season opener to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 102-87. Nikola Jokic had a triple-double in the game, but the rest of the Nuggets' squad was pretty awful with the exception of Christian Braun. Denver's three-point shooting and bench unit were atrocious throughout the game, while Oklahoma City's youth and physicality prevailed.
