Love to See It with Emma and Claire
A snarky but affectionate dissection of the love we see on-screen – and what it says about all of us. Hosted by culture critics Emma Gray and Claire Fallon, Love To See It is a weekly podcast that recaps reality dating shows like “The Bachelor” and revisits the romantic movies that shape the way we date and love today. We laugh, we cry, we break down every juicy detail and unpack all the weird messages that pop culture sends us about love, sex, and dating.

'Bachelor' S24e3 With Megan Angelo
This episode was a complete “fidasco.” Coming off of last week’s Champagne-gate, this episode of The Bachelor was full of women being mean to each other and we were not into it. This week, we’re joined by journalist and author of the new novel “Followers,” Megan Angelo, to sort out who’s being real, who’s being fake, and how one can become a pilot wife.

'Bachelor' S24e2 With Brett Vergara
It’s only week two and we’ve already arrived at the first big scandal of the season: Champagne-gate. Grab the closest bottle of bubbly (it doesn’t matter if it’s yours or not), take a big swig, and settle in for our discussion of episode two of The Bachelor. This week, we’re joined by friend of the pod, Brett Vergara, to talk about the champagne-fueled feud between Kelsey and Hannah Ann, Victoria F.’s confidence during the runway challenge, and whether or not these ladies know who Carson Kressley and Janice Dickinson are.

'Bachelor' S24e1 With Cole Delbyck
Was this the best Bachelor premiere ever? The first three hours of Pilot Pete’s season gave us new love, old love, and a vow renewal. On this episode, we’re joined by HuffPost entertainment writer, Cole Delbyck, to talk about our introduction to the women vying for Peter’s heart, Hannah’s surprising return and whether or not Kelley cheated on the obstacle course.

LIVE from The Bell House: ‘Bachelor’ S1 Finale with Erin Darke and Season One Winner Amanda Marsh Caldwell
We’re here with our show from The Bell House in Brooklyn! Actress, activist and friend of the pod, Erin Darke joined us on stage to recap the finale of the first season of The Bachelor. Alex Michel has said goodbye to 23 women and now it’s down to two. Who will he choose to spend the rest of his life with? Laidback Amanda, or aloof Trista, who doesn’t seem to be all that into him and will soon go on to be the first ever Bachelorette? That might be a bit of a spoiler.
And, since season one never had an After The Final Rose special, we decided to have our own with very special guest, Amanda Marsh Caldwell! Amanda joined us on stage to talk about her time on The Bachelor, her life with Alex after the show and what she’s doing now, as well as play a game with us looking back on her most memorable (and cringeworthy) moments on the show.

BONUS: ‘Bachelor’ S1 Women Tell All
In anticipation of our final live show, we returned to the studio to recap the first ever Women Tell All special. It was certainly less dramatic than today’s Tell All's and unfortunately, Alex Michel was not forced to confront any of the women. Listen to find out who got the original Women Tell All glow-ups, why Chris was responsible for most of the feminism fails, and to prepare for the last live show of this tour!
We'll be recapping the first season finale at The Bell House in Brooklyn with friend of the pod Erin Darke and a super special surprise guest from season one of The Bachelor on Thursday November 21. You can get tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/here-to-make-friends-live-tickets-67254759797

LIVE from The Miracle Theatre: 'Bachelor' S1e5 with Daryn Carp & Special Guests
We’re here with our show at The Miracle Theater in Washington DC! Bravo TV personality Daryn Carp joined us to recap episode 5 of the first season of The Bachelor, featuring the first ever fantasy dates to exotic locations such as... New York City and Tahoe.
And, because we were in DC, we had to touch on politics a little bit. We invited HuffPost Deputy Editor Elise Foley, Washington Post Reporter Jada Yuan and Washington Post Columnist Alexandra Petri - three women who are familiar with the politics of both our nation and Bachelor Nation - up on stage to play a couple of games.
It was a lot of fun, and if you couldn’t make it, we’d love to see you at our next live show!

LIVE from The Newport Theater: ‘Bachelor’ S1e4 With Ali Barthwell and Bachelor Alums
It's Hometown week on season one of The Bachelor and just like Alex Michel, Here To Make Friends hit the road and went to Chicago to talk about episode four with Vulture recapper, Ali Barthwell. We were also joined by some special Chicago-based Bachelor alums. Clay Harbor sat down for a spotlight interview, that we promise was not cut out of the podcast, and we played a round of
'Never Have I Ever' with Jaclyn Swartz, Diggy Moreland and Dustin Kendrick.

LIVE from Gramercy Theatre: ‘Bachelor’ S1e3 With Phoebe Robinson, Derek Peth and Michael Garofola
We continued our live tour recapping season one of The Bachelor by going to Gramercy Theatre last month to talk about episode three with special guest Phoebe Robinson. It was a monumental episode featuring the first ever utterance of the phrase, “I’m not here to make friends.” We were also joined by friends of the pod and Bachelor alums Derek Peth and Michael Garofola. We talked to Derek about his time on Paradise, which he had just finished by the time of the show, and played a round of F*ck Marry Kill with the two of them.
We have two more live shows coming up, recapping the last two episodes of season one.
We'll be recapping episode five of the first season of The Bachelor at The Miracle Theater in Washington DC on Monday October 21. You can get tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/here-to-make-friends-live-tickets-74277005523
