Investing doesn't always just mean time... it also means resource. You spend your money on the things that are valuable to you. So we highly suggest INVESTING money AND time back into yourself along the way. It's true - so many people in the church these days experience some sort of burnout... but what's the cause? Why is it so difficult sometimes? Whew... this is a big one. But we HAVE to talk about it. Volunteers, staff, leaders, pastors, you name it... whether you like it or not... we ALL need rest. And if you aren't resting... or if you haven't had a service where you haven't served in a while... take a step back and ask yourself why. It's imperative that you not only rest for yourself... but ultimately if you're burning out, it can have a damaging affect on others too. SO... in this episode, we talk about some experiences, as well as practical steps to escaping the burnout. And we would LOVE to hear some ways you've escaped burnout as well!  Ok so we all know that worship does more than just make us feel good and connect us with God... it actually shifts things in the spiritual realm. SO what exactly happens when we worship?  In this episode we open up some basic realities that are found in scripture that cause for things to be radically shifted when we worship. So when decide to open your mouth and start to give glory, praise, and honor to God in worship: 1. You're changing the atmosphere 2. You're renewing people's minds around you 3. You're breaking down walls (personal walls and for others) It's a powerful thing when we worship because it also disarms the enemy's plans and is also a weapon against fear and anxiety!
