One of the craziest things about our relationship with God is we have direct access to His voice. God loves using his children to speak into people’s lives & carry out His agenda.  Words like “prophecy” & “prophetic” can feel intimidating & even seem lofty. “Hearing the voice of God & moving His will forward.” This can seem like an absolutely crazy statement, but this is what He loves to use His people for. Writing for corporate worship can feel like a daunting task because ultimately, you’re finding a new way to say what’s already been said. Our job as writers is to re-present ancient truths of who God is.   How you go about doing that in a fresh way is the battle.  Great worship songwriting helps people find the words they’ve been looking for to say to the Lord.
