After last week’s episode about swingers, David suggests they ask the Chatabix Patreons if any have swung and might be up for coming on the pod to chat about it. Much like last time, it’s a subject that makes Joe feel very uncomfortable - but he can’t quite explain to David exactly why. After failing to get to the bottom all that, they send out the message and surprisingly get quite a few responses. So they invite one of the people who’ve replied to join them and he kindly Zooms in to reveal all. It turns out he has two very unfortunate stories which are quite the rollercoaster ride. After a quick brainstorm about what to talk about on today’s show, Joe and David decide to look at some life hacks. But after a promising start, they soon get board of the idea. So they scrap that and switch things up by David asking Joe what he’ll be doing in five years time - which sends Joe into a bit of a spin. After listening to an old Chatabix episode from a couple of years ago, David’s remembered his plan to track down some swingers to talk to on the pod. He and Joe quickly realise it might be quite a weird thing to do, but plough on with the idea nonetheless. Joe’s also pretty worried about the dark web, as he thinks they may have to use it for their research. But as David can’t turn off his browser’s safe-search setting, it looks like it might be up to Joe to do most of the work.
