It's no surprise to anyone that actors are often type cast in Hollywood. What is a surprise is that only a couple of years after Ned Beatty was humiliated in his first film, Deliverance, that he was cast as one of the most powerful and intimidating leaders in corporate America. Cine-Files Live has been a fantastic addition to the Cine-Files schedule for many reasons. 1. Steve & John get to talk about films they might not ever get to discuss on the regular show. (Ie. Transformers) 2. John gets to do what he does best. Hosting a show, interacting with the audience and keeping the whole thing running perfectly. 3. Steve doesn’t have to do any editing.
