Paul Sorvino and Oh God!

Actor Paul Sorvino had an absolutely incredible career with rolls in movies and TV, singing opera as well as his work as a sculptor and writer. His roles in films like Goodfellas, Romeo and Juliet and The Gambler are as diverse as they are fascinating but it was in Carl Reiner's 1977 film Oh God! that we are celebrating today. To say that Mr. Sorvino fully committed to this role is an understatement. He is dynamic, loud arrogant and very, very funny. Oh God! also happens to be a movie that seems to have as much to say today as it did 35 years ago.  If you haven't seen this incredible film you can buy or stream it right here. https://amzn.to/3vjU9ei Don’t forget to support The Cine-Files at https://www.patreon.com/TheCineFiles and purchase any film we feature at https://www.cine-files.net Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCineFilesPod/?ref=bookmarks John @therochasays Steve @srmorris The Cine-Files Twitter @cine_files Instagram thecinefilespodcast --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thecine-files/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thecine-files/supportSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-cine-files/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

James Caan & Brian's Song

The Godfather might have been what made James Caan a star but for many of us it was a 1971 TV movie that first brought him to our attention. Based on the truth life friendship of Gayle Sayers and Brian Piccolo, Brian's Song still has the power to turn grown men into mush.  If you haven't seen this incredible film you can buy or stream it right here. https://amzn.to/3IHSRzz Don’t forget to support The Cine-Files at https://www.patreon.com/TheCineFiles and purchase any film we feature at https://www.cine-files.net Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCineFilesPod/?ref=bookmarks John @therochasays Steve @srmorris The Cine-Files Twitter @cine_files Instagram thecinefilespodcast --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thecine-files/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thecine-files/supportSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-cine-files/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
