The Power of Self-Empowerment

Both in life and in the workplace, we are often taught to empower others, and rightfully so. Giving someone else the authority and agency to make things better is one of those endorphin-producing actions that puts a smile on your face. But empowering yourself? Hold your horses. We get it; allowing yourself the freedom to choose based solely on happiness, not on other external factors, is not easy. In fact, it's something that many of us have been taught to steer far away from. Which is why we've got Jenna Banks with us on today's episode. She is an empowerment expert, author, and social impact entrepreneur who is here to help all of us put one foot in front of the other and take those next steps toward fulfillment.

What if You Could Change Your Life in One Minute a Day?

There are 1,440 minutes in each day. What if just one of those minutes could make all the difference? One minute is all you need to Pause, Breathe, and Reflect. Taking that minute of mindfulness to recharge, reset, and be present is what many of us are missing in our lives.  It's a message Michael O'Brien has been sharing for years as an executive coach, speaker, and meditation coach. After surviving a near-fatal cycling accident, Michael used mindfulness and self-awareness as a tool to recover, and it's a message we think everyone should hear.

Beyond the Fall: How to Find Happiness in Who You Are, Not What You Do

Kevin Cassidy is probably the most famous guest we've had on this show. With numerous Hollywood films under his belt, including 8 Marvel films alone, you've probably seen him in multiple films without knowing who he was because his face was never shown; Kevin was a Hollywood stuntman. Born with a severe cleft palate, Kevin endured relentless bullying growing up, and in college he was wrongfully arrested and jailed, losing his scholarship and spot on the football team. The fact that today he is a business owner, author, and speaker is a testament to his perseverance, work ethic, and drive, not to mention his outlook on life, and we're so excited to have him on the show to share his message. It's pretty apropos that his recent memoir is titled "Falling Down to Find Myself".
