 We’re chatting with Akash Joshi. You’ve asked for inspiring career stories – and this is going to be one. Akash has racked up some credentials, as he’s worked for some very recognizable places, including TransAmerica and ACT – yep, the test every high school senior dreads. His roles in technology have included Business Analyst and Product ownership.   In the past few months, Akash had a major status quo change, networked like a champ, went on probably close to 50 interviews, got multiple job offers, and is now about to start the next great phase of his career.

Lynn Yap has worked with global companies and start-ups here in the US and abroad to increase brand awareness through marketing, operational excellence, and digital transformation. She’s passionate about working with business leaders to create social impact through innovation and communication.  With previous stints at some big names including Wells Fargo, Estee Lauder, and Adidas, Lynn can now be found running the Actv8 Network, an organization she founded to increase participation of women in technology and entrepreneurship. From corporate attorney to investment banking, Lynn’s curiosity has taken her through an interesting and winding road to the present that sure to inspire, and we’re going to explore more about Lynn’s past, present, and future – which includes the release of a new book, "The Altruistic Capitalist" 

Ricardhy Grandoit, has an impressive track record of developing successful programs in large-scale, matrixed organizations you’ve heard of. In 2015, Ricardhy was recruited into MLB – yes, Major League Baseball, to head up career transition, off-the-field player development efforts, and mission-driven awareness programs for incident response and prevention education.  His multi-functional role includes everything from strategic planning to employee relations, communications, and program development, where he’s impacted players and communities through professional development and community-building efforts.  Living at the intersection of corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, and major league sports, Ricardhy is driving change at a systemic level and helping that spread throughout communities thanks to the influence and visibility of MLB.
